Okay, I'm new to this vaping shtuff. So how long is a cartridge supposed to last? I used to only have smoked about 4 analog cigarettes a day but I find that using the Sidesho that usually at the end of the day, vaping starts to taste like plastic instead of menthol.

Does this mean my cartridge is out? My battery doesn't show any signs that it's dying and my PCC says my battery is fully charged.

I just got this item a few days ago and I find myself replacing about two cartridges a day and I normally only smoked 4 analog cigarettes on work days. Am I doing something wrong? Please help me?

You're not doing anything wrong.

My first e-cig was an M401 type (I think that's what you have), and I didn't get a lot of mileage out of pre-filled cartridges. Fortunately, I had a bottle of e-juice to work with, which allowed me to top off the carts & drip directly onto the exposed atomizer bridge. It's very important that the atty be kept wet at all times.

OK
So, would filling my own cartridges mean that i'll get more life out of them?

It really makes me sad that I feel like I have to continuously change cartridges when I don't smoke that much (or vape) to begin with..
=(

I think you will be far happier with cartomizers.... and you can refill them cheap, maybe 20 cents per... Cartomizers last far longer before refilling...

Edit: Opps, you already use liquid. Still a decent point with cartomizers as many people that buy 2 piece models from the mass marketers use them up and throw them out! Craziness...

I just got a Sidesho this weekend; have been using BLU and Volcano for months, but wanted something sleek and dressy for the upcoming holidays.

You are not imagining things! The bridge on that atomizer is way too shallow for the super deep inner cartridge. Also, because of the shallow bridge, I highly recommend after a few puffs popping the inner cart out and clearing off the foil, plastic covering on your prefilled cart as much as possible.

The Sidesho produces a massive quantity of vapor, which means you are burning through more juice than other "minis".
Also, in order to do this, it's very hot. This means you will burn the inner floss easily.

Don't despair: IDEAS:
1. Get blank carts and caps, takes about 10 min or less to fill 5; use paper clip to pop out inner cart from bottom, poke down the floss a bit, fill, decompress the air once, fill, and use the paper clip to pull the floss back to the top.
1a. Replace the white floss with the blue foam they sell on the website.

2. If you are chain vaping at a desk, eliminate the inner cart and drip 2-4 drops on the atomizer, pop on the hollow cartridge and enjoy a good half dozen massive plastic taste-free puffs. This device is way better than the BLU or Volcano for dripping, but the drip tip from them doesn't fit; hopefully MV will come out with one soon.

3. E-mail ModernVapor customer support; those guys are AMAZING with their fast, informative replies!

Enjoy and good luck! I'll maybe post a full review with/without the blue foam if no one else does soon.

And another note, my lungs hurt like a ....!

This happened to me for the first day or 2. What I realized was that I was drawing too hard. I have since started drawing slower and longer and that completely stopped the chest tightness I was feeling. I also switched to a better juice which did not feel as harsh. Instead of drawing quick for 3 seconds like on an analog, try drawing slower for like 5 to 8 seconds. You will feel more vapor building up in your mouth/throat area and it will feel smoother as well.
