So... I love my iClear 30 tank, but the stainless steel knuckle mouthpiece tends to leave a metallic taste in my mouth. Same for my ProTanks. So I decided to out-Chinese the Chinese... I reverse engineered the cap and mouthpiece and made my own adapter to take standard glass or Delrin drip-tips! This is a 2-piece unit, with stainless steel adapter on the inside, and a brass top. Works beautifully, and no more metallic taste!
Anybody out there have access to a small CNC lathe or Swiss-type automatic lathe? I have CAD drawings! What took me 3 hours to make on a manual lathe would probably take about 1 minute for each part on a CNC!
