i would think it would be fine. id wire the batteries in parallel since that will extend battery life. i assume it wouldnt damage anything to wire them in series but due to the fact there is a voltage limit that was set with a single battery in mind youd get the same battery life and no benefit

I still have to dig in there, but from what I can tell (and by looking at pics) adding a couple batteries in parallel would be a pretty simple task. Making/building a new box will be the harder part, as of now i'm thinking wood with a dark stain.

parallel is the way to go

also take care to remember polarity devices that have an internal battery almost never have reverse polarity protection. but on a base level any circuit board can go in any box

If I mess up hooking up positive/negative from the batts to the existing mvp leads I deserve whatevers going to happen. :)

I just wanted to make sure it would be a "simple" swap battery wise with little to no potential for catastrophic failure to the face.

The MVP2 only goes to 11 watts. The MVP3 goes to 30 and has an 3800mAH battery.

It's also $60+ and less mah less than the combo I'd like to do. I could build this idea for $15~. Besides, I'd probably buy the istick 50w before the V3. :)

I only vape at 7w so this will be built for longevity, nothing else.
