Okay, so I plan to be ordering juices offline soon (I've been getting from a local shop), and I'll want to taste them before committing and filling a tank, obviously. Well, I did my research and I have read and watched videos all about dripping. The thing I don't get is all the dripping atomizers I've seen are like $9. I know that's not a huge amount of money, but my clearos are $6 - what's with the price difference? I would have thought just an atomizer would be cheaper than a whole clearo. Anyway, I have what I think is a CE5, standard single top coil 1.6mL clearomizer. I wanted to modify it for taste-testing. So, I grabbed the head off, trimmed the wicks right up to the post, and put it back in the tank. The little rubber piece that goes on top, I think if I attach it to the mouth piece, I can just unscrew the mouth piece, drip onto the coils and screw it back on and vape away. I tested it out by just dripping a couple drops onto the coils, putting it back together and trying it out. It seemed to work just fine. My question is, does this seem like a good idea? Could something go wrong with doing this? I don't plan on using this as an all the time thing, strictly for flavor testing.
