HELP!!!! I currently use a EVod and the battery is trash. I like the tight draw and I like mouth to lung. Also, I use 24 nic 100VG since is deletes the throat irritation. Other than the EVod what could I use that would last longer but give me what I want?
So far everything I seen online is MTL is for more pg cause of the throat hit. But I never got a throat hit while smoking so why would I want it now? Any advice? Please and thanks really want to kick my habit and switch to all vape but this road is getting tough for me

I’ve used Evods. They’re one of the weakest vapes out there these days, and extremely tight. They have 2 things going for them: they’re very very small, and very very cheap (mostly because the design is very very old). If you’re willing to go with a physically larger vape there are a lot of options that will provide a better vape with a longer lasting battery. The innokin zenith thank is a good tank. It will take any juice and the vape is superior. So superior you may wind up wanting to drop your nic level a bit. It’s 24mm though. An all together wider tank.also it will be more expensive. Basically everything is more expensive. There are some smaller mtl attys that take the nautilus coil which is also pretty good, I’m less familiar with them though personally.
The only devices I know of that are as small as the evod these days are pod mods. Their vape quality will range from the same to slightly better. The boulder rock, and the peas will both take 100% VG if they’re still around ( pod mods tend to appear and disappear without notice)
You could simply screw your evod tank onto a different battery. The same size issue applies though. Batteries will be larger.

Welcome to ECF!

The Innokin Endura T18 II is popular with MTL vapers. You can adjust the watts (power). It has 3 wattage levels. Endura T18 II Starter Kit by Innokin

You can thin high VG juice with distilled water up to 10%. You'd probably want to start with 1-2% and see if that helps and go from there.

I’m ok with spending more. The EVod is what I used when I attempted e cigs the first round but not a great experience.
If I did the zenith tank what would I use for a mod? You’re the second one to mention the zenith tank.

For drop-in coils, I'd recommend Zenith tanks. As others said, it's the most popular drop in out there. 3 coil options, and a brand that will have plenty of coils at many vendors, so easy to get.

If you're willing to build, nothing is better and easier than the Doggystyle 2K16. Was my favorite until I found the True MTL tank - the best I've ever used.

But for pods, I've tried a handful (not all- there are literally hundreds), and the best hitting so far for me is the Innokin EQ. Refillable, but not draw activated. But this would be a good choice if you want something simple to replace what you have, at low cost, and plentiful supply of replacement pods. And I'm big on having a fresh coil/wick, and this one really does last a long time. On my 3rd refill, using NET, a big time coil gunker. I don't get to 3rd refills often on my RTA's.

edit: Oh, and I'm all VG (diy) user as well.

I don’t want to thin the juice out. I searched over and over for something that didn’t make me sick or something that didn’t irritate my throat. Think I might be allergic to PG.

I don’t want pods since most are salts or high PG they really make me nauseous. I am up for anything as long as it’s not too airy and can handle my VG as well as mouth to lung since that is more my style.

I don’t know enough to build, but open to just about anything as long as it’s mtl and can handle max vg that I get.
I’ve tried the subvod but it can’t handle the juice. I’ve tried juul, breeze, and the juice kills my throat and I cough, sore throat, the entire thing threw me back to cigs. the pico75 but it was way to airy. That’s why I’m looking for a whole new set up that can do what I want and kick the habit.

There are a bunch of options:

1. you could just buy the kroma-a kit. The mod isn’t bad and does have a lot of power, plus it’s really cheap when you get the kit.

2. Get a petite little sealed battery
There are a bunch of these. The tarot min, micro, and baby all fit the bill, as well as the drag mini, the ageis mini, or basically any other mod that has “mini” or “micro” in the name. There is also a thread here called Little itty bitty mods under $100. which discusses most of them. There are advantages and disadvantages to sealed batteries. They’re simple and they tend to be smaller. The disadvantage is they also tend to be powered by MicroUSB2 ports which tend to break. Also, they cannot have their battery replaced so they will eventually become useless when the battery inside goes bad even if you don’t break the port.

The other option are replaceable battery mods. These tend to be slightly larger, but the replaceable battery allows you to have effectively instant recharging with a battery swap, and the ability to replace an old work out battery rather than throwing the whole thing away. These devices also often tend to have MicroUSB2 ports of their own so they can be used like an internal battery mod if necessary. To be able to battery swap and avoid wearing the MicroUSB2 port you would also need an external battery charger. Popular single battery models (you don’t need dual battery for mtl) include but are not limited to the pico, the nunchakau, and at the higher end the jac vapor sandstorm. The sandstorm is particularly popular here amongst long term vapers. It’s British though so there is a bit of a process to acquire one involving their website.

If you want to go with a replaceable battery mod it also helps to read Mooch's blog | E-Cigarette Forum which goes into battery and charger quality and safety

That is quite possible. You’re likely not allergic to water though, and just a little bit of water can thin VG out a lot.

The zenith Kroma kit is a good unit.
I can't really do pg without sinus and skin reactions and am still experimenting with flavours to find a brew that I can vape without having a reaction to. I use vg and distilled water at 11%.
No irritation and coils and wicks last for a long time. The added water makes wicking very easy and it also brings down the temp where the juice is vaporized.
Mtl can be a hard work around with 100% vg because of wicking issues.

Just to get a bit more detailed for the benefit of the OP, adding a little water (distilled or bottle) will thin out the 100% VG juice allowing you more flexibility in the choice of tanks without changing the overall juice characteristics. You mentioned the Pico 75, a very good mod for starters. You can use the Pico 75 with a Zenith tank ( very good tank with drop in coils) but you'll need to buy a charger and a couple of 18650 batteries. My favorite MTL tank is the Dvarw but it can be rather costly and you build the coils. I have and on occasion use the Zenith tank as well but only when I'm lazy or I'm traveling and don't want to pack the rebuilding stuff. Rebuilding is a personal preference, drop in coils are perfectly fine.

The EQ doesn't have pre-filled pods. I fill it with my all VG diy juice, and it does fine without thinning.
Zenith, I've been using all VG as well. No issues, again without thinning.

Kristin Hogue, for mods there are many choices.

Vaporesso Armour Pro using Samsung 40T 4000mah 21700 battery.

Smoant Battlestar using two Samsung 20S 2000mah batteries. Or any other Smoant dual battery mod.

Vaporesso Drizzle tank using EUC-MTL ceramic coils may work with high VG, I use GT CCell .5 ohm coils myself on a Skrr tank with 70% VG / 30% PG liquid and the liquid wicks well.

Also, use Distilled Water to thin VG liquids if their not wicking well like other folks have said. It does work, but remember that little goes a long way.

Hopefully you'll find something that suits you though.
