Mods with custom VW boost feature

Are there any mods which allow custom boost configuration in VW mode providing the following settings?:

- wattage boost (ideally in % of wattage normal, so it doesn't need to be adjusted every time you change wattage)
- time boost (duration of the boost in s)
- time delta (time in transition, at least it should not have a straight wattage drop)

You can do some of that with the Yihi SX-350J V2 (SX Mini ML Class, and upcoming modder boxes with the board in it) using the Yihi SXiQ software. The smok X Cube II can do it to a limited degree as well via the SmartBEC Bluetooth app. Neither support a delta though.

It would be nice if we could collect some info on how it works on the different mods in detail.


As I just went through one of the Dicodes manuals I start with those ones. This applies to at least 2380(T), Dani Extreme V2(+), Dani Box and No 6.

• Power Limit (in W): limits the max output wattage of the mod, but also functions as boost wattage

It then has 3 special VW modes:

• Initial Boost
  - offering 3 different presets of 300, 450 and 600ms
• Periodic Boost (switches between boost and regular wattage continuously)
  - offering 7 different presets between 80-300ms (W boost) and 500-1000ms (W regular)
• Heater Protection (switches between on and off continuously)
  This feature is actually a periodic interruption of the power applied to prevent a steady increase of temperature. I mention it here too because I guess you could also consider it as a negated periodic boost when using this feature with a higher wattage than you would regularly vape with.
  - offering 10 different presets between 400-2000ms (on time) and 80-200ms (off time)

Judging by the graphs the wattage switches instantaneously without any transition time. How smooth of a vape experience is it?
