“Toggle with” isn’t a great descriptor. The barest simplest stuff would be protected mechs. There you have to start worrying about coil resistance though and it starts getting complicated again.

The next level up would be a VW mod like @Shawn Hoefer is talking about.

What are your needs?

If using wattage mode ya don't need to 'toggle much' with any mod.
I agree with this. Once that I have found my wattage "sweet spot" for a specific tank (coil), I usually keep my wattage setting there.

I think many newcomers to a variable power mod mistakenly believe they will have to make multiple adjustments. That's just not true. Once you find your sweet spot, you set it once and forget it.

It's nice to have the option, though, of being able to adjust the wattage "on the fly" should you change flavors or coils.
