mom and pops vapor issue

So i ordered a mini sub, 2 boge cartos, and some grape ape on 3/23/12. Later that day i received tracking info for my items and delivery was expected between 2-3 business days. However, when i try to track my order via stamps.com and usps.com it just says "electronic shipping info received" and location on usps.com is blank while location on stamps.com is still 22947 and neither has changed. I've never had problems tracking an item before and i'm always paranoid about them. lol
I've tried to contact momandpops but have not received a reply and usps' customer service is just automated with a dead end " no information available on this item".
Is this normal? any info is greatly appreciated

Ive had that happen up until the day it was in town and out for delivery message came through. USPS for you.
It isnt common in my experience but I have seen it happen a couple of times. Very frustrating.. Maybe you will get an answer from Mon or Pop today. Hope all ends well..

I've never ordered from the company specifically but usps takes their sweet time updating their website. For me they usually update their site twice when the item has shipped and when the item has been delivered . Usually electronic shipping info received means that usps was informed they are supposed to pick up the package. Hope you resolve your issue if I had to guess the item hasn't left their store yet.

I hope this is not normal for the mom and pop shop, I just put a $45.00 order in. I placed my order on saturday and have not received anything yet. Our mail is very slow in western maryland so I hope we both get our orders. I'm excited to try out the mini sub and the new juice flavors

Mom + Pops is a solid company, no matter where I order from I get shipping updates for electronic information received, picked up, and I normally don't get anything else until it gets to the largest sorting facility in my state. I've ordered from Mom + Pops, I'm sure you'll get your order quick enough, but if you don't I wouldn't be shy about asking them what questions you need to.

I Agree with tommy, mom and pops is solid. My orders take a day or two more than the "bigger" suppliers but the name says it all and I'll cut some slack for good folk.

USPS doesn't update it's tracking info until it is delivered...

USPS doesn't claim to have "real time" tracking like UPS with 1st class mail service. It's free "icing on the cake" and usually just useful for the shipper as a confirmation of the delivery. If you want UPS-like "real-time" tracking with the USPS, you have to pay for it, same as UPS. Sometimes, the free tracking is pretty accurate. Most times it shows nothing much until your package is out for delivery from your local PO. Sometimes, it's not updated until, or after, delivery. It's a crapshoot and you get what you pay for.

Mom and Pops are an excellent vendor. I've ordered from them a few times and have had no problems at all.

try doing a copy and paste of the tracking number and plug it in at http://usps.com. Alot of times it will show more accurate info directly off the USPS site than using the stamps.com link

Mom and pops replied later that day saying item was shipped and i should see it soon. I woke up early the next morning and checked the tracking again and it has now been updated!
The package was sitting in the same place for 3 days. It finally left at 11:50 pm last night. =/ Guess i'll be vaping some AC and hoping my tank doesn't crack.
I always seem to have problems with shipping and it's made me a little paranoid. O.O

I wouldn't worry too much unless you go 4 or 5 days without the package showing up or an update. USPS is notorious for slow updates. I have, on occasion, bought things, had them shipped USPS, and not received a single update until the package was on my doorstep.
