$684.95 on various items for vaping. This includes: ego batteries (x3), vamo (Full kit), cartomizers(x15), vivi novas (x3) and 1 mini, kanthal wire, wicks, juices from local and international vendors ($350 on liquid).
The number is high because of failed ego battery that was replaced in rush and overpaid for it. Juices that I did not like at all and horrible cartos that died after 1 day of usage.
This of course includes juice that I have not even received and should last me for 60 days based on avg. daily consumption. That is if I will like them :)

$200 is the amount I've saved from not buying cigarettes :)

And of course something that can't be measured in $$$ that is how I feel. I'm loving food again... I had forgotten the real taste of tomatoes... my cloth don't smell... hell, even my dog isn't coughing and making weird sounds anymore... (I think he was suffocating if I smoked indoors near him)
My breathing improved, I don't suffocate from going up the stairs anymore. And turns out my "twice a week" headache was probably smoking related as I didn't had 1 in this month of vaping...

Overall I'm very, very happy I discovered vaping for myself.
And of course this forum, if it wasn't for you I would throw away my starters kit and get back on analogs without understanding what I need to get to enjoy vaping.
Thank you.

Edit: I thought about this after spending few days on forum and countless reviews. This amount is actually lower than anticipated. Planning break even after 3rd month and be in saving after 6 month of vaping.

Congratulations and welcome to ECF! You've kept an excellent record of your vape equipment expense. It's refreshing that you're not complaining about it.

I used to spend around $250 a month buying cigarettes without any hope of saving any money; on the contrary, always knowing I was at the mercy of the Fed and State governments to increase the sin tax on cigarettes. After finding my preferred setup, provari and carto tanks, my monthly expense is anywhere from $80 to $100 (if I splurge and try new flavors). If I diy my own juice, it's even less than that.

Great job on one month Dinet.:toast: The investment will also pay off in less doctor visits, health insurance, and the fact that at least I always picked up something to snack on while getting my stogies. A $ here $ there adds up. And a small side benifit, is that you are helping private business thrive, instead of feeding the cig industry.

Actually I didn't post full records, I've got all and every item including where I bought it and date of purchase with links to receipts :D
Yep... wanted to keep track of this stuff :)
Not complaining because I'm feeling too good... My first ideas about vaping was to reduce $ spent on cigs, but then health kicked in... and tasty juices... If I didn't control myself and keep track I'd be over 1k now :)
But, I've got 2 relatives that smoked a lot for many years. 1st had his heart attack few month ago and second is fighting cancer now... so there's really no point to complain for this tiny, laughable amount of $ compared to that...

And yeah, so many stuff in this industry... so many cravings...
I like it very much that this is basically "family level" business, or at least many are. So yes, it warms my heart too.

I just hope my stupid Country didn't stop my shipments, got some juices that left Miami USPS facility on 7th December and still are not here :(

And thank you, this is really best forum I've seen yet. So many repeating questions and I have not seen 1 "Go google it/ use search" and that kind of attitude.

Since I started vaping back in September I've dropped a bout just under $800 in toys and juice.. Now other than keeping my cabinets full of steeping juice all I need to keep in supply is cartos.. I'm finished with the toys for now. I have 2 eGo batteries, a LT and a VAMO and MVP coming for Christmas.. So I'm set and happy.. The only toy I want now is a Billet Box and a nice Hybrid but those 2 wont be in my house until summer.. Good job on quitting smoke and enjoy your vape.

I don't spend as much as I did when I first started & not anywhere near as much when I was smoking. I have bought things that I really didn't need, but just wanted. I buy juice way before I need it & I keep extra cartos & clearos around to make sure I don't run out. I have a ProVari & a Zmax as my primary PV's. The Zmax was a wanted rather than a needed item. I still have spent less an ecigs than I did on stinkies. I am healthier than I have been in years. You can't put a price on your health, period.

Keep on vapin' & do what it takes to stay off of cigs.

Good job on quitting. I've been vaping for a few months now and couldn't be happier. You will learn that the longer you do it the better you get at picking out the toys and juice, you just learn what works and what doesn't. If I had all the money back on crap buys I made I could get a Provari and still have some change left.

It's smart to keep records like that - when vaping turns into a hobby, the bills can pile up! I have been vaping for almost a month as well but so far have spent a little under $400. I wasted some money buying 30ml bottles of juices that I'd never tried before. Another waste was my first kit. The kit I came with had 2 Smoketech EGO 650's and 2 DCT's. Well . .the DCT's do not work well with the batteries - and the Smoketech batteries are definitely not as good as the Joyetech ones . .so they got replaced. THEN . .somebody stole my ego case that had 2 clearos, both of my chargers, some juice and a battery - so some of that got replaced as well.

But I think I'm set now to stop the bleeding. I have an EGO twist 650, a vivi mini nova, a dripping atty, a passthrough, 2 kanger t2's with extra heads and enough DIY juice supplies to set me up for the next 6 months. I do plan on buying some more Vivi Nova heads, another Vivi Nova tank and a 1000mah Ego Twist sometime in early 2013. Plus I've learned to keep my gear together in 1 box and to keep an eye on it so it doesn't get stolen again. By the time April roles around, I will be money ahead vs analoges.

I spent around three hundred dollars this month on vaping supplies: two new apvs (Sigelei Zmax and Vamos), a couple of Vivi Novas, and over 100mls of juice. I won't have to re-up for another seven or so months. Considering I was spending a little less than that on cigarettes per month, I consider it a blessing that it's so cheap AND keeps me healthier.

That's my only regret. I could have bough top notch HW right away instead of burning it on knock-offs that don't work. Keeping record also for purpose of calculating when I can get another piece of HW :)

Yep, and I need to control myself. I don't want to get it out of control, and next major HW is due only in 2 month, when I'll get into better spot with analogs vs ecig budget.

Considering I was spending a little less than that on cigarettes per month, I consider it a blessing that it's so cheap AND keeps me healthier.
Not only it's actually cheaper it's also pleasant and don't make me want to kill myself :)

700$ for quitting smoking is nothing... for a working solution, pleasant one that doesn't give migraines. Where I don't have to fight myself all the time.
There's also a secret, I never really wanted to quit... I bought starter kit just to try out... I wanted to stop smoking on sub-level, save some money for more HiFi equipment, but never really that much... It's just so much better and enjoyable actually.
And morning coffee with RY4 is actually better than cigarette, and I got crappy ry4 from dekang (99.7% sure it's knock-off).

Yeah, I had to buy about 30 fruit flavors from various vendors before realizing that I don't like to vape ANY fruit flavors.

Well, except for Blueberry Muffin.
And I guess if you want to count peach tobacco.
