I've gone from cig-a-likes (1 yr)
To ego
To vamo
To magneto mechanical
The ego was amazing after a cig-a-like but heard so much about the vamo I got one. The vamo was better then the ego but not by much.then a friend got a mechanical so I HAD to get one. Let me tell u I love my mech mod. Lots of vape better flavor just all around better. I was using a 2.? Ohm coil and had lots of vape then switched to a 1.8ohm coil and omg clouds of vapor. If ur on the fence. About a mech I say go for it. Im gonna save up my money and get a real one soon. I cant wait

Hey girl, good for you! I did the same thing, got a mech a month into vaping. Just be sure you use the right batteries in it if running an RBA, the red ones, AW IMR's. What atty are you using? I used a Protank on mine for a while, but found that my chain vaping went through coils pretty fast. I think you might be getting ready for an RBA. That's what I did, and I'm not one little bit sorry :)

My first mech was a Sigelei 24, but my Magneto might be here tomorrow. Bet you are liking that thing!

I still use egos twists & love them. But I jumped into RDAs pretty quickly as I hate not being able to control the coil & I love dripping. I will probably get a mech at some point but it's not at the top of my list although I feel it rising higher on that list as I begin my search for an RBA (Love the RDAs I have so time to move to bigger things). And I'll probably never get a vamo just...well it's not my style.

Anyway, congrats on your purchase & I'm glad you like it. :)

Congrats on taking the next step on the VapeQuestTM towards Vaping Nirvana.

I am currently stuck on the Vamo V3, and even have another one on its way. My best setup is the Vamo with an X10 BCC, currently filled with a DIY, WTA infused liquid that I call Marco Polo's Quest. It's a blend of Turkish, Oriental and WTA tobacco flavors.

My Ego systems are crying from neglect, and I have three bottles of relatively newly arrived liquids that I haven't even broken the seal on yet.

Yes, well the RSST is generally regarded as a very good starter RBA, though I went with the AGA-T2 myself, just because I liked it's looks better, and I liked the clear Pyrex tank better than the plastic translucent tank. Both are reasonably priced and I don't think you will be sorry with either one. You just have to get used to making stainless steel mesh wicks and coiling them, but this once mastered is a very satisfying thing to do. I make up wicks just for the fun of it :)

Order yourself up some 28 gauge kanthal wire and some 400 stainless steel mesh and have at it. There are lots of YouTube videos on how to do it. Trust me on this girl, once you are vaping on an RBA you will never go back to that Kanger Protank. Mine is sitting there all dusty, and I think I will just give it to someone. Nothing vapes like a sub-ohm RBA.... NOTHING!

Just be real sure you can check your ohms on that RBA before putting it on your mech, and be real sure you have the right batteries, as I mentioned above in the thread.

Caution:

If you get an RBA, like the AGA-T2 or the RSST and wrap your first wick, then vape on it, you will be very happy....... for a while. You might go through a few wicks and coils, getting better at it each time.

Then you will want something snazzier, like the Z atty Pro, or the Russian, or a Kayfun, or a Vapinaze AC9, which is what I'm currently lusting after. Resist this urge. You already have a nice mech, and when you get your first RBA you will have arrived. No expenditure of funds will provide any significant improvement over your rig. From there on it's about how well you make wicks and coil them.

Just vape on and enjoy what you have.

Then order an AC9

My bets don't vape. I put them on the blackjack table in front of the dealer, and they just sit there and do nothing until the dealers takes them from me...despite me constantly offering them a hit off of my PV.

Sorry for poking a little fun at the title of your thread. :p

Good for you taking your next step though. Nirvana is out there, and it's only a matter of time before I find it. In the meantime, the search goes on. :toast:
