Rely nice review there!

Love the sound of that caramel tobacco mix and that cider one also! I may have to look int these blends. 2 questions really, would you describe the caramel tobacco an Ry4 variant? (I appreciate it lacks the vanilla usually present, though many Ry4 mixes do also to be honest!) and also, what device is that? Looks like a juice box mod of some kind, but wasn't sure as you seemed to be Direct Dripping anyway. Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words!

I wouldn't describe their caramel tobacco as an RY4 variant. I've found all RY4s that i've tried to be MUCH MUCH sweeter than this liquid. This is first and foremost a tobacco flavor, with a really nice hint of caramel. The sweetness is detectable, but very subtle.

That device is the Merlin. It is a Variable Voltage 2x 14500 mod, made by Mamu.

I could not agree with you more. Both of these flavors are amazing. They are not overtly sweet as many would think and I believe people would be really surprised. The base tobacco flavor that comes through from the "Straight Up" liquid is super smooth and not the typical flowery/sweet tobacco flavor that seems to be so prominent these days.

I love the apple flavor that comes through in the Mulled Cider fluid. It is more on the lines of a tart Granny Smith apple instead of the sugery sweet apple flavor you would get in a piece of candy. Bits of spice and the base Straight Up make for an awesome juice! Subtle cinnamon and clove make this a great layered flavor that exposes itself in stages.

The Straight Up Caramel is a great warm flavor. Again, the base keeps this from being one of those super, syrupy flavors. The carmel taste is sweet, but reminds me more of a exquisite European caramel than the sweet caramels typically seen melted and eaten here in the US. It has a nice "toasty" flavor that lingers on the tongue and like Venkman said, it seems to be most prominant when you exhale it than when you roll the vapor around in your mouth.

Sorry to Shanghai your thread but seemed silly to do a whole new review for the same flavors.

Thanks for watching, Littlegiles. I'm glad you provided a thorough, eloquently written review, as I failed to provide any written review, contrary to my OP.

I've really been digging the Mango from moondrop lately. I almost never vape fruit flavors, but for some reason I had a craving a week or two ago, and have had mango in one of my tanks ever since. Been vaping it daily.

Zombite,

In my opinion, Straight Up Caramel is definitely not an RY4-variant. In part, I have that opinion because Moondrop already has an RY4---named RY42, actually. The lack of a vanilla element is not a reason, however. As you say, many RY4s contain only the trace vanilla that is sometimes contained in the particular caramel flavoring used. For me, it boils down to this: Straight Up Caramel doesn't taste like an RY4, nor does it even remind me of one. It is entirely its own creature. And darned good, too. I'm quite impressed.

So, my judgment is based on an entirely subjective reaction (flavor), but I think you'll agree should you try some of the juice.
