Someone gave an excellent description of Blast way back in the Paypal days. They described it like an atomic fireball AFTER the initial heat began to wear off and you got the nice mellow, almost creamy taste of cinnamon that you want to last forever. That's my paraphrase of what I remember about the post and it made me curious enough to order it. I agree with that description. It isn't that knock you down, make you sweat kind of flavor and it won't mess up an atty as I've heard other versions of this flavor can do. HTH

Blast + Root Beer? Hmmmm. "How is BWB's Root Beer?" is the next question.

I used to drink Root Beer through a black licorice "straw" and it was tasty.

I've been vaping the Root Beer right out of the mailbox...better than good...tastes like root beer + a nice TH.

I may have to get a sample of that in my next order! Can you tell me if it has any cinnamony or spicy/peppery aspect to it that might be a heartburn issue for me?

Hmmm...not sure...try sending Don an email with your concerns...he will be more than happy to answer your questions, especially since he knows what's in it.

Cool, I'll give that a try!

BTW, I'm starting to really get into this Malty Toffee - this may be yet another one that I'll have to keep plenty of on hand.

If you can let that steep for a month, you will be in for quite a treat...so good right away it's hard to leave it alone!

I have a feeling a much bigger bottle of this is in my future...

I'm waiting on my order of Nutty. Now I'm even more excited to get it. I love hazelnut.

I am going through this 30ml bottle so fast, I ordered two more - it's one of those "I can't bear the thought of running out of it" flavors for me now...Oh, and it's quite good right out of the mailbox!

I wonder if mine is from an unusual batch - I just tried one more drop before I ship it out on a trade, it was born on 12/20/10, so it's more than a month old, and it's still totally red pepper! Very strange - I love cocoa, so I really thought this would be one of my favorites. Anyway, it's going to a forum member who really loves Casablanca, so maybe he can tell me if it's from an unusual batch when he gets it...

Mine has the same born on date and I agree with your perception of the flavor 100%.
It's spicy hot like chili powder. I taste no sweet or cocoa to it at all. Mind you, I really enjoy spicy foods, so Casablanca doesn't offend me. Just wasn't what I was expecting. I vaped it today, and the hot spice has grown, not diminished, since the day I received it.

Cool, thanks for posting that, now I know I'm not going nuts! Let me know if you try another batch of Casblanca at any point and if the spicyness is any different for you...from all of these cocoa/mocha descriptions, I was expecting it to taste more like the malty toffee with more tobacco...

I get no peppery taste whatsoever in my 1/10/11 or 1/17/11 dated Casablana. It took about 4-5 days for the cocoa flavor to come out, but even before that I didn't taste pepper. Maybe Don grabbed the chili power instead of the cocoa powder when he made your batch.

Judging by Newbz post above, it sounds like the 12/20 batch may very well be a fluke - by all other descriptions I've heard, the Casablanca should be one of my favorite flavors...I just swapped it with another forum member who knows Casblanca, but alerted him that it might be from a weird batch, so I'll see what he says when he gets it...

I guess everyone has different taste buds, but I never detect pepper in my Casablanca. I love it right from the mailbox. It takes like tobacco with a bit of cocoa for me. I'd bet something is off with your batch. It'll be interesting to see what happens. You should give it another try in the future; it's my favorite tobacco vape and I hate anything that's even remotely spicy.
