more power from usb

ok so i think i found a way to keep the voltage higher without an inline battery i am gonna give it a go when i get a cord but here is my idea

they use the dual plug usb connectors for devices such as external hard drives that use alot of power... and since theese do give more power to the hard drive i think it would up load voltage of a pt
