More Specific Dripping Help

I bought the following via recommendations on these threads, primarily to test juice easier. Cisco LR306 and to use the XL Delrin Drip tip

What a mess this makes. My understanding is that I need a "Drip Shield" and I think a 510-510 extender that is sealed.

A little confused about these still. I see there are sealed and unsealed extenders. Since I see the juice running down onto the mod, I assume sealed? No idea.

I will primarily use this with a Zmax and or my Ego Twists.

1) Can anyone tell me what "Extender" I need specifically with a linked site if that is allowed.

2) Drip Shield, with site if possible.

3) Last, I have now heard that I should have bought "Bridgeless" drip attys and the above Cisco is a bridged. Although I have no idea why this matters, what would you recommend and where?

Good quality is important to me, so hopefully it lasts a while.

Not an expert and not a vet, but 80% of my vape is dripped so here goes...

1. You can drip on any atty. Bridged or bridgeless. They really are cheap enough, so get a variety. I have 3 right now and none of them are the same.

2. A drip shield is not a requirement, it just makes life easier and cleaner. Without it you will have some juice leak out the airflow holes of your atty. Keep a paper towel nearby and you'll be fine.

3. If you DO get a drip shield, you WILL need a 510 to 510 adapter. This adapter will go between your battery and your atty, effectively raising your atty. Then you put on the drip shield. Now when juice leaks out the atty it's caught in the drip shield and fed back in and you still have airflow. If you have a drip shield and no adapter, you won't have enough airflow and you'll try to suck a marble through a straw when you vape.

Thanks, I kind of get the function but hoping for more specific devises recommendations, or perhaps it does not matter and they are all created equal? No idea again. Is any drip shield able to work with all setups? Same with the 510-510 adapter? I just don't want to order something, wait a week and find out I have the wrong things.

On the ego battery you can just use an Ego "cone", no adapter necessary. These are REALLY cheap if you don't have some already from kits. I agree that bridged or bridgeless, either works fine for me. Also how much juice are you dripping? For me usually 3 drops at a time does it, but it would depend on the juice and the atty. Dripping takes some time to figure out. I flooded the atty a LOT when I started. After two years, not so much!

I wouldn't say they're all created equal necessarily. More that I (and probably you) haven't been doing this long enough to be able to differentiate and/or appreciate the differences in flavor and performance.

For example I am definitely eyeballing the $22 drip atty I keep reading about and have no doubt it will be amazing, but with my short vaping tenure I don't know that I will be able to taste all that it has to offer Instead I drip with my $5 atty and can immediately tell my flavor is better than my cartos or even my clearo. And that makes me happy

As for being able to work with your setup: I am much more familiar with the eGo family than Zmax so I'll only speak to the eGos. The drip shields will typically specify that they will work on a 510 atomizer (which is the size your eGo uses) as long as you use the 510 to 510 adapter. 510 refers to the threading so a 510 product from vendor X and vendor Y should in theory work fine with your 510 threaded eGo (with the occasional quality control issues that crop up at the worst times, of course).

For your eGo battery u can use a eGo drip shield Empire eGo Spiral Drip Shields and you will not need a 510-510 adapter. Or a less expensive one like this eGo Drip Shield Cone
