Hi All

Although I have been comming here for ever, this is my first post. I usually find the answere.

Anyway..I usually get a 24 mil of juice and split half and half with VG to make 12 mil and so far I have not had any problem. I did it today and I am not getting the vape I usually do in my 510, actually it's almost none. What could have gone wrong and is there anything I can do to fix it? Would hate to lose all that juice. Any advice would be welcome.

Thanx

Cydnie

If it's cut with 50% VG, then if it's getting hot enough it would HAVE to make vapor, I would think. How old is your atomizer? Maybe it just picked this time to clog up. Or maybe the juice was just more runny than usual and you could have flooded the atty. Have you tried to take it off and blow it out into a tissue? That would maybe help. Try the juice with a new atty if you have one. It seems strange that the juice would be the culprit if you really mix it with VG.

How are you vaping it? What method?

And do you have automatic batteries or manual?

Maybe's the atty is flooded. Take the atty off the battery and blow it out into a tissue. Also check both sides of the battery connection for juice.

If you are using a cartomizer, 50/50 may not flow as well in a carto as a thinner juice. I sometimes noticed my thinner juices make vapor more easily in a tightly stuffing cartomizer. if you juice is too thick, try thinning with a bit of distilled water.

Maybe try blowing out the atomizer until it's relatively empty and try turning it on. I've had this happen before and it either was due to me flooding it or the contact was dirty. Generally after blowing it out I can at least see if it turns on by running it without the tip on. Any other atomizers you can try to make sure it isn't just a bad one?

Also try cleaning it if it hasn't been done in a while. I've been vaping for about 5 months and still have all my atomizers working (though I have about a dozen or so 510s). Usually every few days I switch them and clean them weekly with hot water. It makes a big difference.

Thanks Stummies

Actually I have one atty that has lasted for about 4 mo now.

Tried all of the above. It's been said that the juice you use has alot to do with attys. I guess I'm doing something right ....I clean with hot water as well.

Since my first post it seems to be getting better but still not getting that sexy bellow.

I'll keep trying. Maybe when I mixed the juic, I didn't give it time to sit and marry well with the VG.

No but I have seen that as well, but luckly I realized what it was from researching here before I even decided to purchase an ecig.

2 of the atty are almost brand new.

Like I said before I think that maybe I didn't let the juce mary with the VG it seems to get better with each cart refill

I'll try the vg drip on the atty tks CBB ...DUH! why didn't I think of that LOL (Twirling my hair)

Seabrook I saw you in another post and I'm from the SF Bay Area as well.

Actually, Cydnie, I'm in North San Diego County (about 35 mi. N. of SD). IDK what else to tell you to try. I was going to suggest a "dry burn," but you say the attys are knew, so that prolly isn't the prob. Make sure when you blow your atty out, you blow it with your mouth on the threaded end so when you blow, you don't blow the juice into the bridge. That's a puzzler. I spose it could be the juice.

oops obviously I got you mixed up with someone else that posted, Sorry

Thanx everyone, I changed the filler. Forgot I got new carts that happened to be pre filled and didn't change the filler. I love the blue foam, polly burns and juce seems to stick to it. The foam vapes virtually dry and won't stick to the wick. Seems to be working fine now.
