HI All!
Very excited to be on the forum. This will be my very first thread.

I recently found an old Bottle of Boba's bounty sitting in my desk drawer. It was 2/3 full of a 30 mil, 12mg and it sat in there untouched for about a year and half. The juice was super dark and thick like molasses. I wasn't sure if it was any good or not but I pulled out an old cisco spec atomizer and decided to give this vintage juice a vape. Wow. The flavor has matured and developed in ways i didn't think juice could... Obviously, the vintage Boba's was vaped away in a couple of weeks and more had to be ordered. Fresh boba's didn't stand a chance compared to vintage boba's...

So it got me thinking... what can i do to have an endless supply of vintage juice?
The way I saw it, I had few options.
  1. Buy like a regular person and let it steep for a week or two (not very aged)
  2. Buy a lot and let it age. (needs patience and some $$$)
  3. Try a modified Solera system.

  • The solera system is a type of barrel aging that is use for making Sherry.

  1. Basically what I would do is buy a 100 mil of juice and vape normal.
  2. once 30 mil is spent, top off the original container with 30 mil more of fresh juice.
  3. Repeat the process leaving the bulk of the juice to age.

This is just purely an idea that had after being slightly disappointed with fresh Boba's.
Please comment away and share your thoughts!!!

Happy vaping

Thank you for the welcome.
I'm trying to figure out a way to reproduce the flavor of a year old Boba's....

I'm not sure about replicating the year old, but there are a number of methods to speed up steeping. Most involve applying heat (not over 150 degrees is the accepted idea) using a thermos, a crock pot, hot dry rice or an ultrasonic cleaner. But the idea you had, of adding new liquid to already steeped liquid, is also used, and called "seed steeping."

Check out the DIY sub forum for lots more detailed info.

Ive got 4 bottles each (Bobas and Gorilla juice) from April unopened and in a cool dark drawer! If I decide to give them up ill post them on the classies. (Im on the fence if I actually like it anymore)

There's a thread on here aboit something in Bobas has changed and no where near the wonderful elixir it used to be. So im kind of scared to get rid of it... Matter of fact I may load up a Reo with some Bobas now and see what 8 month old Bobas tastes like!
