Hello everyone. I just had a bad experience with a flavor that totoally wrecked my 306 LR atty and then a boge carto. It seems that some of the sweet and dark flavors can be especially hard on atties and cartos. This particular flavor was so thick I had trouble squeezing the juice out and it was so dark, nearly black looking in my 6ml Reo Grand bottle. It killed my LR 306 atty last night (it was 4 or so weeks old so not that suprising, though it was working quite well before I changed the flavor to this stuff). Im talking about reduced function within an hour and the atty was so clogged within 4 hours it was unusable. It subsequently died when I tried cleaning then dry burning it.

So no matter, I set up a boge LR carto on my Reo Grand last night and all was well before bed. Now, by lunch time the boge carto is so clogged I can hardly get anything out of it. Frustrated I tossed it in the garbage, dumped out the rest of the juice and popped on a new LR 306 and have been happily vaping some tobacco blend (I dont even remember the flavor i was having such a nic fit!)

So after that terribly frustrating series of events I want to get some juice that doesn't do this to me. Anyone have some suggestions? My impression is that the sweet stuff gunks up the atties. I have some gummie bear flavor that gave me some trouble as well. The juice is a clear amber color, but after a day of vaping the flavor was getting nasty and I blew out the atty to see very black looking residue in the tissue. I just want a clean and consistant vape.

Many flavors form slag on wick and coil; damages atty and carto.

Test flavor slag potential by dripping a couple drops on warm pan.

Black pepper orange dream bar leaves no residue in pan; it is atty friendly.

Coffee kills atty quick; it leaves nasty black slag in pan.

Thanks for the tip! I'll go try that when I get home.
