I love them at 6 but 7.4 seems like I would need a 4.5 at least

You may be right-but working great for me. TH like the real thing-closest to analogs I have found. IKV doesn't make a 4.5 that I am aware of. Where would you get one?

To answer your question. No, it doesn't really match the reo all to much. You can clearly see the difference and now, I just stick with my XL delrin drip tip. It doesn't burn and get to hot and it fits perfectly.

Oh yeah, you don't have to worry about the atty burning a hole into your drip tip neither.

Bummer. I placed my order for the red tip and two attys before you posted, because I'm using a 510 LR atty now and I really miss the 306. I didn't want to wait another day to get them.

If the red one looks mismatched, hopefully, the black one I already have will fit the attys. The black looks great on it, anyway- I just thought I'd get the red to change things up now and then. Thank you for your response!

I think joye make a 4.5, I've never had one above 3.5 ..... thats why i've never tried 7.4
Good to know it doesn't fry the atty though.
Maybe I'll give it a try some time

Yep, my order yesterday was my third order with them.
They are great to deal with and your right, shipping is super cheap.

It works out great for me because I love the 1.5Ω for 3.7 volts.......
And the SR 2.3Ω is perfect for my 5 volt batts .......

So either way I am rocking attys that cost under 5 bucks shipped to my door.

I never dry burn mine .... with the steam cleaner there is no need to.

The only thing I have ever dry burned (on purpose) were the old CE2 cartos.
You had to get the chinese rat urine out of the wick on those back in the day.

I flipflop between Cisco's LR 1.5Ωs 306s & LR 1.5Ω 510s. Brand spanking new the 306s. The 510s seem to be more consistent in the long haul. Everyones says IKVs are as good or better but after the mini 801 no one can convience of that...unless they want to send me a 510 or 306 LR free to try.
