DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS!
I am sitting on a boneyard of dead e-cigs (both mini and penstyle from Puresmoker), and cant get atomizers cuz they have been out of stock for weeks. They worked great until they died (atomizers, not batteries). I have been without vaping for a month.
I am deciding on a new supplier.
The first one I have considered is Intelli-cig. I read that the atomizer, since it is more "open" to air, is less likely to overheat and die. But they are out of stock for starter kits, or so the website has said for the past few weeks.
The second one I am considering is JANTY DURA-C. It will be available April 4. It says that it is for heavy vaping. Not sure if it's a mini style or pen style and cant figure it out by looking at the pic. Also, you cant buy blank carts for it.
The third one I am considering is the Screwdriver/Trog, but I think that is only available in England, or at least the last time I found a link to them, it seemed to only mention "pounds".
Any thoughts, suggestions, feedbacK?

Man, why dont you just drop 50 bucks on 8 atomizers for your pen style from ruyandirect.com?

They are like 5.50 - 6.50 each.

For 50 bucks you can get 8 atomizers from him.

Your going to need atomizers for your new choice of e-cig too, I doubt those atomizers will last forever, even if they last "longer" than regular ones.

Hi texas, get the Screwdriver i've had mine about 5 weeks now, really good consistent performer and the battery lasts all day and its cheap to run, i think it takes about 10 days to get stateside and he uses paypal, just go to his site and send him a message he is usually quick to respond.

I couldn't agree with you more. Now I have almost every e-cig out there, and the SD is the best I tried so far. The SD is more money, but it will last you longer than any of the others.

So I paid $150.00 for the SD and awaiting del, I have bought from Wayne at Heavens Gift (China) got here in less than a week and he has evreything 84 mini 901's good and the 801"s and all parts and they hold up
His disposablle cigars have lasted over 3 weeks of constant use, also I can top off by pulling off the tip, well worth it, really along with the e cigar
The SD is from overseas, however that should not be an issue, his communication lacks abit, but he may be away for all I know

Good Luck, you will find the sources that work for you as you dive into the products, I have not smoked a real .... for 5 mos's and do nothing but vape all day with a variety of e cigs, you gotta find what works for you, it may cost a penny, but it is not smoking cigarettes

While I dont have any other to compare to, I have been pleasantly surprised and quite pleased with my penstyle from puresmoker.. They are still going strong and almost 2 months old.. (knocks on wood)The only mishaps have been a faulty USB passthrough which I was able to get replaced free and a battery that seemed to have fallen apart on my 22 yr old daughters watch from a crappy glue job. I have been tempted to purchase another e-cig but due to lack of funds I am making due with what I have. I blow out the atomizers daily and soak in coke once a week.

I do keep reading its luck of the draw and so far I seem to have been lucky with that.. I do wish you luck on finding something that works for you.. From one Texan to another Good Luck!

Regardless of model, it seems that the atomizers from JOYE Tech (JOYE models) are pretty durable. Call Kurt from VaporGuys.com and ask him about them.

I had my JOYE306A "Super-Mini" bouncing around in the cup holder in my car for about 30 mins before I realized it was being constantly lit up and it works fine even though it was was completely dry because all I had on it was a empty mouthpiece (no cart because I drip that atomizer). From what I can tell, atomizers like to die when they burn for a while and are dry.

I'm vaping with that atomizer right now :D

the real truth that nobody wants to believe about e cigs is that for anything other than occasional light use they really should be considered semi disposable items..

ruyan created them for this purpose.. occasional light use and nothing has changed since except they are being taken up by heavy users..

atomizers are good for around 5000 puffs.. they dont die they simply fade away.. batteries do the same..

so how come this isnt widely known.. ????

thanks yall. hey, if the screwdriver is SO much more durable, then how come so many are buying e-cigs from other suppliers?

Well this is a good point tumbleweed. Based on posts in this forum, I would guess at least 90% of SD owners also own (and use) at least a second device. So my conclusion is....it's certainly not the end all, be all of vaping. Otherwise, why isn't it used exclusively, 24/7?

I agree the SD is a great little device but as with any ecig, it's not for everyone. And it's an expensive venture to figure that out.

ahhh... but you didnt have a real one did you.. you had what we try our best not to sell.. he he he... and it cost you bugger all to find out anything.. u instantly sold it for what you paid for it... he he he

basically there are such things as "enthusiasts".. this place is dominated by them... such folks cant wait to buy the next new product.. the SD isnt for these folks its for those who the "hobby".. novelty"... "fun" factor has worn off..

me for example me.. he he he..

now i aint trying to sell SDs.. just defend it... buy a new one decide you dont like it... very few do.. then sell it for what you paid for it.. i need say no more..
