Usually the exploding, blow ups are from mech mods. Mech mods are unregulated so it fire when when u wanna fire it as long as there is a circuit how i was thought. Regulated mods nowadays have all this fancy protection stuffs. "Check Battery", "check atomizer" "low resistance" etc. it will not allow u to fire your machine if it thinks there is something shorting or just not perfect. The explosion mainly caused by batteries but yes, laptops, cellphones all has batteries and they do go kaboom. Thats why there is instructions on stuffs. vaping in particular u need to keep in mind what are you going for and can your mod take it? Can your battery take it? Thats when u need to do calculations wether it can or cant. Thats about it. If you ask me mods are never risk free, but they are considerably safe.

ecigs are safe only reason why they blow up is because people use them improperly. know your product/learn about it before purchasing and abusing it and you should be fine. if you have questions that you are unsure of ask on here people are very helpful as I found it to be since I am new and using a box mod. you will likely have a higher risk of dying from heart disease then an ecig blowing up in your face.
