I had an accident, it was bad and went back on analogs, finally getting my head in the right place again and wanting to start vaping and planned on using my BB as the basis to build anew on. I grab it, clean the battery contact up, notice I have the old spring after looking on the site, which I'm still curious how much the new spring improves things. Then I go to take off the cart. I always used 808's back then so I had an adapter on it, 510-808, the whole thing starts to come off, OK, I'll separate them in a min, I think! Nope! I take the center contact out with the adapter! Not good!
I've taken the whole thing apart, other than the adapter, alcohol, penetrating fluid etc., it didn't budge! I manage to get my soldering iron in and re-attach the wire to the contact, washed it with alcohol a few times and tested. Works like a champ, thankfully! I've re-potted everything and letting it set up so I can use it later.
