SB-PassThrough is freaking amazing !!

Hello everyone

I received my SBPT today and it is truly amazing. My first time vaping at 5v, it is so good that I didn't want to try 6v yet I love it with the enercell ac-to-dc power adapter with adjustable voltage and make sure you get the N style tip(2.5mm)

Everyone who has SB or DBSB should buy one wont be disappointed. I figured out today that 5v is nothing like LR even tho LR is what I use outside. If you have the silver colored positive battery contact, just get magnetic battery spacer and it works.

One thing tho, SBPT says silver on website but I received a black one I don't mind black bottom, silver top, white atty and black mouth piece all together looks bad ... But it should be changed on the website, ROB

Now I can vape the juice that used to give me low TH. Thank you Altsmoke

Hmmm. I have a BSB, but yesterday I ordered a PT and DBSB. I thought the PT was silver (as the site says) so I ordered the DBSB in silver also. If the PT is black, I'd rather have a black DBSB top. I'll contact Rob and see if he can change my order.

Hoping mine arrives monday... if it's black, that just means I'll have to buy a BSB I guess.

The SB PT are all black, there were about 14 that I brought along to vapefest. Those 14 were polished because i did not have time to get them to powder coating. Next time I run a batch of the SB PT I will be sure to polish some so they will be available. There is a lot ahead of the next PT batch though

I love my SB Passthrough...just got it an hour ago...absolutely wonderful construction.

Question for you guys though...since I have the enercell variable power plug (does 3v all the way up to 7.5v), can i crank up the voltage without an issue (other than the attys)?

I figured the cable be able to handle the extra power, but i just wanted to make sure...

What cable? The one permanently attached to the Enercell? I'm sure hoping that can handle it . From another thread it appears (with a battery) the weakest link is the spring which Chad said he melted around 8A... but you don't have a spring with the PT? Maybe the one holding the positive contact up?

I was going to get the N adaptaplug for the Enercell as well so I have two options (in case i forget the cable or something).

Right now the switch is set for 5v, but theres higher voltages available as well on the wall plug.

I personally don't think its an issue, but I wanted to make sure it wasnt too much juice running through the PT.

Unfortunately this is a huge issue that must be addressed. Vaper's worlwide are putting these harmless atomizers through terrible abuse. Killing them with high voltage, literally causing them to blow out. Terrible shame, and a "Save The Atomizers" donation must be created. Some way to donate money for a clinic all abused atomizers could run to, before it is too late for them. A cell phone program, so all atomizers that feel they are being abused could get a cell phone to call a help line, when they see their user setting up to use them on a HV device.

THINK OF THE ATOMIZERS! THEY HAVE FEELINGS TOO!

Well, after looking at the SBPT and realizing that my single barrel SB top is just sitting around collecting dust I place my order. I figure it will come in handy when I am just sitting around the house playing some Call of Duty on the PS3, or fiddling on my laptop. This will actually be my first passthrough ever! Altsmoke has been great to me thus far though so I am not worried. I just cannot believe it took me this long to finally deal with Rob

You'll love the PT man. I've got the BB PT version, and it rocks. I pretty much vape a normal SB @ 6v during the day, my BB PT whenever I'm at home by a power source @ 5v, and a BB with a hot spring, and LR atty when I need to be stealth. I haven't tried the DBSB yet... looks sorta scary... I'm sure I'll get up my nerve eventually. An Altsmoke PT @ 5v with that Enercell power adapter is as close to a perfect vape that I have found yet, and by far, my favorite setup. At 3.7v, I'm sort of like "meh" Perhaps the DBSB might change my opinion though.

The DBSB will bring the 3.7v world spinning uncontrollably about your head. I was the same way before hand - 6v only! Now I do not know how I did not do 3.7v DBSB

Something you should not look over. The 510 cartos are da bomb. They seem to perform better with the newer style "hot spring". Ever since Rob sent me a few I have not turned back
