I used the Ego-T for months and was very happy with it for a while. One day, I ended up using a cartomizer again and immediately realized how muted the flavor was on the Ego-T. I also had a lot of trouble with the atomizer's burning out often. I don't believe it was shady manufacturing (I ordered them from a very respected online dealer). It seemed to just be a problem inherent with the tech. Once the technology has some of the kinks worked out of it I would gladly go back to it. They are extremely convenient, and stylish. Until then, I'm much happier with my low resistance cartomizers on a Silver Bullet. I would suggest that you try another option after using the Ego-T for a while and see if you can tell the difference. Best of luck! :)

As was said in your first line, it is an introductory product, most people interested in vaping would be overwhelmed & may be put off if you give them too much information, it would be better if you let them ask the questions & make their own informed decision. I normally use a ProVari, but I started off on an eGo to satisfy my curiosity. I still carry around my eGo as well as my ProVari with some cartos for the curious. Like anything else, you don't tread into unknown territory without a little guidance or information. We want to leave a positive impression with those who might be interested.

Not trying to doubt your experience, just try looking at it from their perspective, having a tube mod or box mod for a beginner will leave them with more questions than enjoyment out of it.

Personally, I would have loved to have someone tell me about mods when I was a beginner. It took forever to find the right setup for me (until I found this forum). If I had known about my current setup back then, I would have saved so much time, money, and frustration. Just my thoughts, definitely appreciate yours. :)

If she does not want or like the heat of lrs then she will be fine with any regular carto and an ego or ego t type battery. My wife has been using this combo since her 510 auto failed and she loves it. I have tried to get her to try some dual coil and lr stuff and she does not like the heat it produces. So it really depends.

I love my ego's but hate waiting for them to charge, so I bought a mini-roughstach and then a go-go and now I use them more than the ego's cause you can just change the batteries and not wait for them to charge!

If you use the wall adapter that comes with the ego instead of plugging it into a computer or other USB port they charge pretty quickly. My 900mah takes a little over an hour to charge. Computer USB ports can't provide the full power that the quick charger needs.

Keep in mind that popular means people like what they're using, not which one sells the most! Ergo, I still say the eGo platform... soapbox.gif
