Mouth Piece Melting?

Hey, went to take a smoke one day and the mouthpiece of my e-cig looked as if it had melted inside. This has also happend to somone elses e-cig the same as mine (Ego 900 with clear cartomizer). Can anyone shed any light on this problem. New to vaping.

Some of the cinnamon and citrus flavor juices are super hard on clearos, causing cracking or in some cases even melting. Might be the same with the mouthpiece or drip tip you have if your using those flavors.
