Yep - it's an Idiotic monstrosity and guess who vapes at 400 watts?
1. No one.
2. Idiots.

At this wattage you're not trying to stay off smokes- it's just a pointless device designed for impressing idiots.
More ammo for the FDA at a time we shouldn't be giving them any.

100% this.....

That "400 watt" box is just a mech mod; anybody can rig up 4 or more batteries at home in a box.
It's not like you can set it to 400 watts on a 0.5 ohm coil if you wanted.

It doesn't compare to an actual 260 watt regulated mod.

Actually there is a variable 400 watt chip on the market, has been since last summer. It's more intended for diy mod builders.

If I find the link to them again I'll post it here but I dropped out of the FB group that was building with them

It's a variable voltage buck regulator (dc/dc converter), that is CAPABLE of firing at up to 5v, up to 80A, which (according to Ohm's Law) equates to being able to build down to a 0.06ohm without burning out the chip, while still giving you same voltage hit time after time until you hit a limit where your batteries should not be fired. It's just a bigger version of the Raptor 20A chips that people are building with. But, just because you have it doesn't mean you should do it.
