It's quiz day, guys! Are you ready?

I present you with yet another theme-free movie quiz. As is often the case when I don't do a themed quiz, I'm once again featuring eight assorted, quality movies from various genres. All that aside, who even reads this stuff anyway?

There are eight screenshots below. Most of them should be fairly recognizable if you've seen the films. So, which of these movies can you identify?

Please answer with movie numbers only, not titles..

Happy Friday!

As usual, I'll post the answers Sunday morning-ish.

Here are a few hints:

#2: The guy laying in the pool of blood on the floor, Tommy, was supposed to be there to go through the mafia ceremony of becoming a "made man." Instead, he got a bullet to the head. "It was among the Italians. It was real greaseball sh**."

#3: That's Madison in the screenshot, eating a lobster the only way she knows how. There's something very fishy about her, and the man who's falling in love with her, played by Tom Hanks, is beginning to realize that she's keeping secrets from him.

#5: The title character in this John Waters movie is played by Edward Furlong, the kid from Terminator 2. That's him with his Grandma, who is convinced that her Virgin Mary doll/statue speaks to her. "Full of grace! Full of grace!"

#8: Look at a calendar and you'll see that this movie has a very timely title. 'Nuff said. :D

Hope these help!

    in a cave, eh?
More hints if you need 'em:

    1. Post-apocalyptic drama has Viggo Mortensen and his young son traveling south to the coast, scavenging and dodging cannibals to survive.
    2. Ray Liotta quits school and goes to work for gangsters, gaining experience in crime along with Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro in this Martin Scorcese film. It's based on the life of Henry Hill.
    3. A Ron Howard fish out of water story that has Daryl Hannah falling in love with Tom Hanks before he discovers who she really is. John Candy is Tom's fun-loving brother.
    4. Eddie Murphy is the unwitting star of Chubby Rain because the z-list director, Steve Martin, never actually got him to agree to be in the movie. Instead, the actors set up where Eddie is likely to walk by and recite their dialogue while they all get filmed covertly. Eddie Murphy's goofy look-alike brother (seen here) helps when they need a closeup of the star for the film.
    5. Edward Furlong is a budding photographer with an unfortunate nickname who rises from obscurity in this John Waters film. He unwittingly disrupts the lives of his peculiar family and friends as his fame spreads.
    6. A futuristic Michael Crichton thriller about an adult theme park that offers a realistic role-playing experience with lifelike humanoid robots in one of three settings: Medieval times, the Roman era, and the Old West (seen here). The robots start glitching and become deadly.
    7. Ryan Gosling moonlights as a robbery getaway driver and gets mixed up in a bad pawn shop deal thanks to his pretty neighbour in this 2011 crime-drama.
    8. The star of Wayne's World and Austin Powers mostly just runs around in a mask, wielding a scary knife, and gives Jamie Lee Curtis fits in this horror classic. ;)
