I thought Face Off was pretty good. I'm kinda lame like that sometimes. LOL

good one.

Yes, yes and yes! You mean like a YouTube - Family Guy - Harrison Ford - I Want My Family Back
Originality has been next to dead for quite sometime. Everything has been done before pretty much. Our technology has gotten so advanced, we base everything on convenience-y so much to a point that we're all just getting lazy with thinking up creative ideas. Everything is always a spin off of something else. From a book, television show and even movies that haven't even past the 5 year date (The incredible Hulk) It is a damn irritating shame, but what can do about it? :( I'm afraid there are and probably will never be any options for us my friend. Hate sounding like a pessimist, but it is what it is.

LOL @ that clip. Yes exactly the Hulk is definitely a perfect example of the extreme ridiculousness of the time frame of some remakes.

I was wrong about original stories and movies though. I went through a Huge Asian phase and it was incredible. The stories they tell are just beautiful and unique.

True. I haven't gotten into too many but there are some good ones.

One movie that will forever be at the top of my list is

YouTube - Memento Trailer (Version)

That isn't an official trailer but one some kid did for a film class but it shows the idea of the movie better than the "real" trailers I found. It's a hard movie to describe but the reason I like it so much is more about the way it was made than the script itself(although the storyline is good). Basically for an example if a movie was split into 3 acts A-B, B-C, and C-D then the way memento plays would be C-D, B-C, A-B.

another I had almost forgotten about until I came across the trailer while looking for the memento one is....

YouTube - The Machinist trailer

I really do like that one so hopefully it won't be disappointing. Another you may want to check out if you like him is First Snow. Wasn't as good as I expected from the trailer but wasn't bad either.

And yes Time Machine and Count are both ones that I've watched a few times. Good stuff.

If you want to see Guy Pearce at his "best"...check him out here:

I just turned this on on Netflix on the other pc to have something to listen to while I catch up on the forums. I went to youtube to find a trailer to post but instead found the whole movie. It's only 42 minutes. I dare anyone to watch this all the way through and not find it at all amusing/entertaining. I mean c'mon it's NPH and Nathan Fillion in a comedic musical who wouldn't laugh at that? :D

Oh! Right at 0.55 I coughed out my vape! Ouch! I never heard of this movie Thye! That just sky rocketed to the top of the list. Robin Williams is a Great actor, especially when he does serious roles. It's a shame but also Not a shame that he despises serious roles. These 2 will always be treasured though.

Bobcat Goldthwait directed both Sleeping Dogs Lie and Worlds Greatest Dad...I know, whoda thunk it!

As for Extract, I did see it...kinda uneven. I didn't HATE it, but given the cast and the material, it couldve been AWESOME. Just didn't wow me.

Then again, how can you top OFFICE SPACE??
