Some more:

Shawn of the Dead (Look, I don't care what the telly says, all right? We *have* to get out of here. If we don't they'll tear us to pieces, and that is really going to exacerbate things for all of us.)

Office Space (Looks like you've been missing a lot of work lately. I wouldn't say I've been *missing* it, Bob. )

Chasing Amy (All every woman really wants, be it mother, senator, nun, is some serious deep-dickin’)

Jersey Girl (way too many quotes but this is a good one ;) )

[after talking to Gertie, after finding her with Brian without their pants on]
Ollie: Do you have any questions about what you saw?
Gertie: [thinking hard] Do you have what Brian has?
Ollie: Yes.
Gertie: [after thinking hard again] Is it as big as his?
Ollie: Sadly, yes.

Saving Private Ryan
Schindler's List
Gladiator
Braveheart
Brotherhood of the Wolf

If I had to pick only 5 these would be it. However, I do have a few honorable mentions!

300
Troy
The Patriot
Enemy At The Gates
Gangs of New York
Last of the Mohicans
The Princess Bridge
Wedding Crashers
Demolition Man
Last Man Standing
Big Trouble In Little China
Snatch
Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

Note: Just a note for anyone that has never seen "Brotherhood of the Wolf" I highly recommend it. It is a french film but did make it over here with some great re-dubbing. Set in the 1700's in France, there is a story about a legendary beast that is going around ravaging the countryside. A bad ... is called back to france from the colonies of the new world with his native american indian companion. They set forth on a mission to trap or kill the beast and find many different turns and twists in their search. The film is filled with action with amazing choreography, intrigue, thick plot development and a dark mystique.

I hope that this has interested you in the movie! I think everyone should see it once. :)

There are so many mentions of good movies in this thread I don't know if I'm contributing much...

I'll mention one that hasn't been named yet - Defiance. It's on Netflix Instant. Powerful film, cross between Braveheart and Schindler's List. Everyone I've gotten to watch it has liked it. True story, as movies go.

The Matrix - they did such a good job with it. Stunning special effects. Changed the movie industry.
The Lord of the Rings - same. That was a good year in movies. Introduced me to the Fantasy genre' as a book. Good stuff.
The Beach - beautiful visuals and what guy hasn't guy hasn't gotten wonderlust and wanted to wonder around like Leonardo did in this flick. Best soundtrack ever.
Swiss Family Robinson - the original one that came out in the 70's. Great as a young boy.
The Sound of Music - this is a classic. Maybe the best movie ever made. I don't like musicals but this one is different.
Love Story - Odd that I would mention it. It was strong though for its time. It might look trite now, I don't know but at the time it strongly effected a lot of people. I know it did me. My Mom dragged me to it.
Titanic - A Cameron classic. I tried to sneak out of the theater because I had tears in my eyes. Turned out all the other guys did too.
The Wizard of Oz - What can you say.
Braveheart - I'm of Scottish heritiage. This hit home with me. If you watch this and don't want to go out and kick some a**, there is something wrong with you.

More, but that's all I can think of at the moment. Watch "Defiance", it's a sleeper. Best flick I've seen in years...

No movie list is complete without Grease

I'm your Huckleberry.

You're a daisy if you do.

That's just my game. Say when.
don't forget Johnny Ringo's last dance...
