Oh! Right at 0.55 I coughed out my vape! Ouch! I never heard of this movie Thye! That just sky rocketed to the top of the list. Robin Williams is a Great actor, especially when he does serious roles. It's a shame but also Not a shame that he despises serious roles. These 2 will always be treasured though.

lol yeah that part got me too and the trailer is tame compared to the movie for that one. Thinking of your list did you get to watch Memento yet?

And yeah I'd agree about Robin and One Hour was good. Insomnia was good but for some reason just not as good as I expected.

I think it's kind of the high expectation I get when they team up a couple of big names like that are just hard to live up to. Kind of like with Pacino and De Niro in Righteous Kill... it was good too but just didn't live up to what I was hoping for. But that can probably be blamed on the fact that from the time I saw the first trailer for it I kept thinking of them together in ....

I definitely couldve done WITHOUT the Robin Williams nude scene in Worlds Greatest Dad though....cool movie nonetheless.

lol won't argue that one with ya.

Bobcat Goldthwait directed both Sleeping Dogs Lie and Worlds Greatest Dad...I know, whoda thunk it!

As for Extract, I did see it...kinda uneven. I didn't HATE it, but given the cast and the material, it couldve been AWESOME. Just didn't wow me.

Then again, how can you top OFFICE SPACE??

saved me some typing there. that was about how I felt about it too. although to be fair I just didn't get into it and was surfing the forum while watching it.

I don't get disappointed in movies very often. It try not to have any expectations LOL, but I was expecting more from Righteous Kill. And I thought that was the first time the two had been together. I just added Heat to my Netflix Instant Queue. I love having the media player on my TV that does Netflix.

Have you seen this one with Pacino

Yeah 2 for the money wasn't too bad. I have the Roku box on my TV and when I'm at the desk, which is majority of the time, I have my laptop hooked up to a monitor and keyboard setup here and then I use my desktop to watch Netflix or Hulu most of the time. I don't even bother with cable anymore lol

Oh yeah and Heat, IMO, is a really good movie well worth watching.

I rarely have high expectations for movies either but with some pairings it makes you hope. Then again Righteous Kill was also disappointing for the fact that it was yet another movie, like majority I watch, that I figured out right off the bat how it would end. I had an ex, or two or.., that hated watching movies with me because usually about 5 minutes in I'll guess at how a movie is going to end and most of the time I'm right. Not because I'm so smart or something but just because most are so predictable.

One that I will forever be stumped as to why so many people thought it was such a shocking ending is The Sixth sense.

A couple I'll admit surprised me were Fight Club, which once they show you it seems fairly obvious, and the first Saw.

:nah:

Vampires don't sparkle!!!!!

:p

ROFL... yeah that's one that got me too. Not to mention it sounds much better in the books than it came out in the movies.

Hubby has been on this kick where he keeps watching Transformers 2 over and over again. When it first came out I read a review on it where the gentleman wrote that 1 was better than 2 because 2 was just too unbelievable. To this day I sit here and wonder what part of 1 he actually found believable.

I love tear-jerking love stories. Have you seen, "A Walk to Remember?" OMG I love that movie. I can't sit through the whole thing without shedding a tear.

A walk to Remember make me cry everytime I watch it, and I have seen it like 6 or 7 times. Pretty sad for a guy, but just can't help it. Guess I am too sensitive! HEHE What a sad man I have become. :(

Ahh that just means you got yourself a family! I get really sensitive during some movies too. Just blame it on the family , it works. :thumb:

We haven't had a chance to have a seat and watch a movie in quite a while now. :( My Mrs, Val dominates primetime sitcoms lol. Let's boycott desperate housewives and American teenage life! (or something like that)
