Problem

You've screwed your new atomizer into your mod. It's all the way in and works, but the atomizer wobbles.

Why?
- Because the positive 510 connector is too long, meaning that only the front part of the negative threading is engaged.

Solution

A shim.

shim
/ʃɪm/
noun

a washer or thin strip of material used to align parts, make them fit, or reduce wear.

Cut a disk the same size as the base of the atomizer, put a hole in it's center slightly larger than the 510 on your atomizer. Slip this over the atomizer 510 and screw it into the mod, wobble gone.
The thickness of the shim will need to match your application. If it's too thick the 510 may not reach the positive pin and no juice will flow.
I initially used a credit card which was too thick (1mm), the positive pin didn't connect. I then used a playing card (0.5mm) and this was spot on.

Why? - The base of the atomizer is now supported, so the free play on the pin does not matter.

I have the opposite problem... one of my mods doesn't like atties with short 510 connection (going to try one of those "heat sink" adapters) Anyway... carry on.

I made one out of a Folger coffee container lid. It was the thinnest plastic I could find. After that I got the real thing from FT.

I had a problem sometimes with them locking up so I couldn't unscrew the bottom part of the tank from the mod. It happened with Lemo tanks on Solo mods, and maybe a STM. They were so tight I had to use pliers to get the tank base off.

Shims are also fantastic for aligning your airflow inlet in a different direction, especially on side by side mods. I use either a FT heat gasket, or a drip tip o-ring on the 510 pin to change where my airflow lines up.

I've made them out of water bottle caps until I found these:
$2.17 Replacement POM Heat Insulation Gasket for Atomizers (5-Pack) 5-pack at FastTech - Free Shipping
Somewhere on FT they also sell .5mm thick shims (and 24mm wide ones)

$2.73 Authentic Iwodevape PC Heat Insulation Gasket for Atomizers (10-Pack) 10-pack - 5*black + 5*white / for 24mm diameter atomizer at FastTech - Free Shipping
    24mm and a 0.5mm thickness
