I think I may try to roll my own noodles this weekend and make homemade chicken noodle soup
I'm 33. I love to cook, and bake especially. I've been making family dinners since I was 12. I also crochet, do cross stitch and jigsaw puzzles, and plan to learn to knit when I have the time. I think it's more of an attitude than age thing...I've always wanted to be a wife and mom.
It's really not that hard, you should definitely give it a shot!
I think a lot of it is a patience thing. Most people are after instant gratification these days.
Wow Eln, I had to pop in to say WOW Thren and you both make homemade chicken soup oh I love it ..I make it too ..but the noodles are a LOT of work...I have made them but wow KUDOS on that...love hearing that Eln and Thren....* oops and good morning back Eln*

You are a rare breed. I know plenty of women that want to be a mom. But few that know what that entails and are willing to do it.
I'm a pretty good cook. Only thing I was ever wary of was baking meat. Then I bought a meat thermometer.
I've never made it before. Only soup I've ever made from scratch was French onion.
Why can't ECF leave the damn site alone!!!! Geeesh. 
I finally find my happy linky thingy and now they F'd it up AGAIN!!!!
I need more coffee before I snap.
But on a happy note, I did stumble across an old post I made a loooong time ago.

Thanks vaps.Thren - Your earlier post about always wanting to be a wife and mom tells me that when your children grow up they are going to do GREAT in life. Kudos to you "mom".

The fact that you care is what makes all the difference in the world. Moms and Dads don't have to be perfect, they just need to do the best they can and everything else will fall into place.
The lacking of a strong family bond is what has gotten our country into the mess we're in right now.
IMHO These old TV shows represent much better days.
