Well, I'm 6 days into quitting smoking and ordered a couple of flavors from a semi-local shop to try with my gear. After a recommendation from here I ordered from Mt. Baker. Well, I'm glad I did. Here's what I got today in the mail:
50/50 Black licorice 18mg 1 extra flavor shot
50/50 Grape 6mg
50/50 Root beer 18mg 1 extra flavor shot
50/50 Root beer 12mg
And they included a free bottle of 50/50 Wintergreen 0mg to try
First of all, these flavors might not be everyone's favorites but I really enjoy them. I sampled a bit of each and was really quite surprised. These were only mixed on the 23rd so obviously no time steeping and the flavors are fantastic. The first one I tried was the 18mg black licorice with an extra flavor shot. I was a bit concerned that I sucked some into my mouth, the flavor was so intense but delicious. As I sampled the others, I found that I wouldn't order extra flavor shots again. The standard mixes are enough and have a nice clean flavor. No off tastes or anything. If this stuff gets better after steeping, I'll be really impressed. Another thing to note, I live on an Island in Alaska. My order arrived after three days, meaning they got the order put together immediately and shipped it. The freebie wintergreen seemed like they picked something out that they thought fit my intense flavor preference, instead of grabbing some random extra they had laying around. Prices were extremely reasonable. Also included in the box was a couple of business cards with discount codes for my next order. I'll be back for more, Mt. Baker seems to have a handle on their business.

Right on rogers, I tried four other liquid companies when I first ordered my supplies. The only one I liked was five pawns, but at $27 a bottle, I'm afraid I can't have that be my all day vape. I'm headed to another state for a vacation soon and look forward to visiting some B&M shops and trying new companies flavors.

I too am a big fan of their black licorice! I buy it with an extra shot as well and often mix it with a bit of menthol. I've tried a few others, I agree that their root beer is good and their butterscotch. I place an order there about once a month, when I am not sure what I want to vape, licorice always works!

If you like butter scotch theirs is as good as any. I find MBV very hit or miss, but I have a small handful of favorites from the them.

Give The Vapor Room a look. They are a bit better and higher in price. But you get a free 15ml bottle of anything you want if you are a new customer. So pick out a 10$ bottle and get one free. worth one try at least. They also have great weekly sale specials. Seeing as you have just ordered, maybe something to try in the future.

Congrats on not smoking! Another hint, most vendors will give you a free sample if you order $15 or more from them,Or 3 bottles, etc. but you have to ask in special comments. Allways ask.

I do like the cheesecake. It is really good. I have tried others and I am currently on a strict budget so price is an issue. I also have other vendors I like to. There is so much out there.

If you're interested, ECBlends is having a sale this weekend: 25% off all juice until 11/2/14 (which makes them almost ridiculously cheap!) Use code: HALLOWEEN

Shortdraw,

I'm a fan of Mt Baker myself. I tried about 15 different flavors of theirs, and honestly liked at least 10. Not bad...as flavor is very subjective. A lot of the stuff I thought I would love disappointed, but some of the stuff I thought I would hate turned out really good. If you like it, that's fantastic cause it's about as reasonably priced as it comes. Short of DIY liquid, this is affordable to me.

One thing I will note is that if you liked it right out of the mail, you will really like it more in 2-3 weeks. I was skeptical about steep times, but I'm a TRUE believer now. Some of those liquids really don't come into their true flavor for about 3 weeks.

At any rate, I'd recommend you place a follow up order of the liquids you liked right now (if it's in your budget). That way, you aren't tempted to tap into those bottles right away. Let em steep the recommended times and taste the difference ! I was always caught in a cycle of tapping into the new bottles before they had steeped because I was running out of juice. There's a huge difference in taste after steeping.
