Since I've been vaping I've been ordering my juice from EC Blends. Then I succumb to the siren call of MBV. I ordered early so I would have time to steep. My batch way made 12/13. The problem is that after 21/2 weeks still smell and taste terrible. Perfume, alcohol and old socks. The worst offenders seem to be the darker juices, the worst being Ankara Tobacco and Cafe Coffee. The juice flavors aren't that bad. I keep them in a box in the back of my china cabinet. I take them out every night, shake the crap out of them, and put them back. I've even tried heat steeping the Ankara to no avail.
I never needed to wait this long for my ECB juices to mature, though the older they got the better they got.
Experienced MBVs, how much time do I wait until these juices are vapeable? Will they ever be vapeable?
Thanks

I've ordered quite a bit from MBV and most everything has been good for me and required no steep times. I do smoke mostly fruity or drink style blends so that helps. Their Wild Cherry needed steeping for quite a while though, it tasted like biting into a car air freshner. The 3 bottles i ordered from ECB also didn't require any steeping either, however it did take 3 MONTHS to reach me (deployed in the gulf).

Cafe coffee never became vape-able to me - I let it go months. Its just a dark gooey coil destroyer and it tastes like your reference to old socks! LOL. It is semi-tolerable in a dripper, but only semi. I love MBV for hardware and they have fabulous customer service, but the liquid there just isn't for me. I tried about 15 various flavors and found them to me not my thing even after 6 months of steeping. I was pretty sad because like I said - they have great service and the prices are awesome, but taste wise they didn't agree with my tasters.

Stepping - to me - makes good flavors better. I haven't been fortunate enough as of yet for it to make bad flavors good. I have a metric ton that I have still hoping to revisit and like - but, as of yet, no luck on them. And when I say bad - I mean they have "a taste" varies throughout the liquids and vendors, but perfume, chemical, old socks, etc. It seems that if they have that to start with it stays. Such a shame!

So can we newbs get a list of sites that are quality and pre steep there juice with fast ship and non astronomical prices

MBV is quality - it just boils down to taste is subjective. There isnt a list of magical liquids that are good for everyone unfortunately (I wish there were I would have saved a ton of $$!!) The best thing is going to a B&M if you have one so you can try before you buy. Otherwise, order small sampler packs of small bottles from various vendors until you find one/some that are good for you.

If you go into the general e liquid discussion here on the forum you will find tons of info on vendors and flavors. With price - I have found you get what you pay for. My favored vendors are in the middle on a price chart - but I get consistent quality in every bottle. So - Im ok with that.

You will find a list of suppliers here on the forum also. You can expect them to be reliable and ship quickly for the most part. If there are any issues you will see those in the "suppliers negative reviews" section.

I hope this helps! I really wish I could tell you XYZ is where its at - but it just isnt that simple.

Glad I'm not the only one CreepyLady.
Anyone have any favorite vendors in the same price range? Can't see paying $16 for 30ml.
I think DIY might be my next step. At least I could have my juice the way I want it.

If you are looking for coffee - 925 by goodlifevapor and Jamocha Haze by Mister-E-Liquid are the best 2 that I have found. They dont taste like sludge from the bottom of the pot of coffee and they are very light and clear liquids - so they dont instantly murder your coils. They both vape super clean.

However - they are both in the $15 range for 30ml. Worth it IMO, many are more highly priced than that. Im glad to get quality liquid, good service, fast shipping and consistency. I will tell you DIY is fun - but I still havent mastered the coffee flavors! My coffee attempts are barely better than cafe coffee. LOL

The only place I've ever come across that sells 30mls for around $8 is "TopVapor E-liquid" sold at Madvapes.com. I've never tried it so buyer beware.

As for MBV, I'm waiting for my third order to be delivered. I love their Strawberry and Blueberry and have 50 ml of each in transit! Yes, they take about a week to steep but it's worth it to me. So far I love MVB and they are my main source for juice and what is true for MBV is true for ALL juice makers... some juice you'll love, some you'll like and some you'll hate.

Innevape- I love their e juice especially "Vape my day" . It has been my all day vape most of the time. Other great flavors I have tried "seven", "Cherry Bomb", "Vapeception" and "heisenberg (the blue)" Going to run $17.00 for 30ml (70vg/30pg). Worth every penny

Vapor Hut- $20 for 30 ml. Wookie Cookie, a must try. Many other great flavors also. (60vg/40pg)

Flavorz By Joe- Excellent taste a , Smurfette, Boy wonder, and many more. You can customize your pg/vg ratio at this site.

I don't mind paying extra for a great juice, especially when I compare it to how much money I was spending on cigarettes.

All are good straight from the bottle with no steeping required. Warning: When you smell wookie cookie your going to want to drink the juice, but don't.:)

MBV is fast and cheap. Some of their flavors are great, some not so much. Their Virginia Fired was quite good. I loved all the flavors from Alien Vapor, which was my favorite juice Vender. Great Vape straight out of the bottle.

I decided to go DIY juice months ago, and so glad I did. Custom designed juices to my needs and specs. And delivery time is snap fast. lol. Coffee flavors are super tough to get down. The main difficulty with coffee extracts is that they are a super strong flavor. Must be used in small %'s. When used as an enhancement at 3% the flavor comes through pretty well. Thinking one shouldn't use more than 5% of coffee extract or it will be way to strong.

I have tried almost every flavor on MBV, its really hit or miss based on reviews and steep time since everyone's palate is different (I tend to like the fruity flavors IE "Blue Moo" or "Dragon Fruit") good thing they are nice and cheap cause if you don't like it, you only out $4.99/$5.99 a 15ml bottle. Most places are $7.99-$9.99.

Good E-juice has some good juice and prices. Flavorz By Joe I've picked up from a B&M ("Blueberry Waffles" is really good and you can taste blueberries and butter!)

The more complex the flavor, the longer the steep time.
The simpler the flavor, the shorter the steep time.
I've ordered from several vendors and find if I order from MBV a month ahead of time,
their juices are every bit as good if not better than anywhere else.
If you're okay with paying double what I pay for juices, that's your choice.
There are many vendors to chose from.
As for me, I'm sticking with MBV as I am very happy with them and their juices,
prices, customer service, and sales.

I was going to order from MBV today, but I think I will wait on that for awhile after reading this thread.

There is absolutely nothing with Mt Baker I dislike threads that scare others away from quality companies because it didn't meet their flavor profile.
