i order from MBV and i have had great luck, i didnt steep long and its good, but i have some steeping now and dont know if they will taste better but i used menthol and watermelon only
Should lighten up and smooth out the menthol and should improve the watermelons flavor

I'm in the camp that wasn't too happy with the juice I got from MBV. I picked mine up locally. Simple bottle of French Vanilla 6mg. Did not like it very much so I'm steeping it now. Not to thread jack but are all of their juices 100% pg? I'm thinking that might be why I don't like it but I'm steeping it just to be sure.

Are you steeping with drip cap off?
Let us know how it turns out for you

100% PG would have had to have been asked for, their standard mix they send in samples etc are 80/20 PG/VG. From their website you can order the ratio of mix that you wish. I like Rancor0681 typically get mine at 50/50 but sometimes 65/35. I can't honestly say that I have ever seen anyone order 100% PG, I have seen 100% VG however.

Yea at 100 percent pg I can see Alot of tank floods and gurgling due to juice being so thin. I usually choose 50/50 because to me atleast flavor and throat hit is about right decent clouds of vapor and above all juice seems to be thick enough in don't get gurgling or flooding.

On lighter taste juices such as say my pear next time I order I will order 65pg 35vg simple because the higher the pg the more flavor comes through. If your searching for huge vape clouds you will want higher vg levels

Very true, the only thing I ever use 100% PG for is when making Incense Cones to carry the oil to the cones. Can't vape at that level has to be no more then 65/35 but 50/50 is my preferred ratio as well, has a good balance.

Edited previous post a bit.

But Yea 50/50 seems almost perfect for me on I'd say 90 percent only a small 10 percent of lighter flavored juices do I go higher then only to 65/35
Glad to know I'm not the only 50/50 weirdo out there lol

I have yet to try MBV, but I will say that of all of the different ones that I have tried, I prefer 50/50 blends the most. I have some 100vg Vanilla that I will use to tame down some of the higher pg content stuff, but it doesn't take much at all...

Nope I do 50/50 almost 90% of the time and maybe 70/30 the rest. I find 50/50 is the perfect blend for me for most juice so I stick too it. If the place I buy juice has a set % then I just go with it tho.

I ordered 3 flavors from Mt. Baker and ended up with Morning Vape, Pear, and Mango - all about 3 weeks ago. Pear was great right out of the mail and required no steeping at all. The Mango and Morning Vape had a distinct alcohol/perfume smell to them and were disappointing but after giving them some steep time the alcohol smell is gone and the flavors have definitely improved - though still not inline with my palette. Hopefully one more week of steeping will do the trick!

This is another taste is subjective for sure because MBV Banana Cream Pie is one of my all time favorites.

Here's the deal with MBV in my experience, give the juices at a minimum of one month steeping. I might shake mine once a week tops. Most of my juices are in the 2-3 month steep time though and they are fantastic. If I looked at my fresh order Moo Juice and my one that has been steeped for 2 months, they look completely different. Once is almost clear, the steeped on is this nice red color (it doesn't kill cartos though).

There's a give and take with savings from MBV. If you can keep a rotation in hand and keep juices for 2 months steeping, you'll realize that they are just as good if not better than things I've paid 3 times the price for. I order $50 at a time and just put them away.

Update. Just had an online chat with Hans at MBV. I explained my situation to him and when I told him I chose VG 70% Distilled H20 30%, he replied;

Hans (15:51:11): Well the water will always make it taste a little funny to begin with, I still don't know why we offer that. It changes the flavor too much in my opinion. But most of those are darker bottles, with high nic, in max vg, those are the slowest to steep.

End quote. In all my research in the past couple of weeks I had not read about distilled H2O being a problem.

Guess I'm back to the PG.

Edit; I don't notice my spell check simetimes.
