I had tried MBV juice and found a few that I like and this last time i picked up some unflavored nic and some of their DIY flavors. I'm have trouble with the RY4 I started at 10% and didn't get anything close to flavor out of it and bumped it up by 5 % each time making 5ml samples each time I'm up to 30% and it still hardly has any flavor compared to the pre mix RY4 I got from them what am I doing wrong?

Are you perhaps tasting it as soon as you finish mixing it? It may need a bit to get where it is going. Even MBV takes a couple of days to get to you so even first day at the house it has had a little time to mature. I suspect that you should let the 10% have a couple of days grace and then try it and check the strength.
that could be I will let it sit and see what happens with it I really can't see them mixing at 30% this is what they have on the website

but most people getting flavors from Flavor west say around 12 % on the high end so I don't know

Rumor has it that MBV runs about 10% flavoring with 2 percent for each extra shot. I'll also mention that anything tobacco tends to need extra time to mature. You should be able to tell the strength of the flavor in a couple of days but it still may not be "there" for at least a week.
I'm just going by how the bottle I got first from them mixed and how it tasted right out of the mail when I got the mixed bottle I couldn't vape it for a week it was strong. I will let it sit for awhile and see what comes of it right now its the right color but has almost no taste at all. I was thinking i was going nuts.

I like my MBV 18mg 80/20 premixed at +1
I've mixed every flavor at 12%-12.5% 18mg 70/30 and they're all damn close to MBV +1.
I steep/aerate them overnight and don't vape them without at least 4 hours in the Ultrasonic Cleaner.

Spending way too much on unflavored nicotine base liquid often leads to weak flavor.
MBV's pre-mixed juice prices are lower than just about anybody else out there but what they charge for unflavored nicotine base is a straight up rip-off.
