So I am looking at buying more juice on the site and noticed it said this juice has been reported to damage plastic tanks. Some of the juices are even ranked a 1 or as clear as they come. How do they damage plastic tanks and what tanks would be safe to use with them?
I have not had that experience myself yet but have heard that indeed acidic flavors like citrusy and even flavors that use a cinnamon extract can ruin a plastic tank.
Polycarbonate plastic tanks are unaffected. They are usually the frosted looking ones. The RSST uses polycarbonate for example. You can actually melt a human body in acid in a polycarbonate barrel and the barrel wont melt! Now you know!
Well, just wait! If theres one thing about vaping its that our juice doesn't like to sit in plastic for too long. It might not spring a leak today, tomorrow, or a month from now, but it will be a huge mess to clean up someday.
