So I've been hearing/reading so much about MtBakerVapor and how great their ejuices are. Finally got Peanut Butter (not Peanut Butter Cup, just good'ol regular Peanut Butter) in the mail (for some reason, my taste buds have been craving for this vape flavor for some time now). Some threads say to leave it alone for 3 days, some suggest to force the steep process, and others recommend 2 weeks to let it steep.

Has anyone had experience from MtBakerVapor and do their ejuices require some steeping time?

I'm curious because my various ejuices had different outcomes - some were great off the bat, some tasted better after I left it alone for some time, and others actually got worse with time.

IMO you should always try juice straight out of the mailbox. If you like it, great, if not, cap/dripper off steep for a day. Shake and try again. Still not good? Repeat. Still not good? Dark cabinet for a week, shaking daily. Repeat as necessary. Once you get out to about a month, if you still don't like it, you probably never will.

Sounds very reasonable. I'll give that a try, thanks

I order all my juice from MBV. Some, like Extreme Ice, are good out of the box. Others, like White Out, are better with steeping. Since they mix all orders fresh the juice has only steeped a few days by the time you get it. My rule of thumb with MBV is the "simple" juices are usually good straight out of the gate. The more complex flavors I steep for about 4 - 5 days after I get them. That has worked for me every time but YMMV.

FWIW- I did an e-chat with MBV tonight and they told me when steeping their juices you should leave the cap off for 24 hrs max, then cover and shake daily for the duration of the steep.

Hmm... But that's not steeping, isn't that oxidizing the nicotine? Been reading up about it on the forum. Maybe they suggested to do it anyways because it'll simply help the steeping of the flavor? Anyways if that's coming from MBV, I'll give it a go. Thanks!

The peanut butter tastes great right out of the package but I'm sure the flavor will come out more if I let it steep a few more days. I'll uncover the cap over night for the rest of the juice and see if it makes it even stronger.

i've found that most mt baker flavors are great right outta the mail.
but i have run across 1 or 2 that needed a timeout.
i got a sample bottle of something called "The Rob" and its like bubblegum, cotton candy, unicorns and rainbows - it smells/tastes like a carnival in my mouth.
very sweet & makes me feel like a little kid.

Yeah so far I've found that most of their juices, especially the sweet ones, taste good right outta the box but definitely get better over time. I have a custom liquid that I order from there with 1 part coffee, 2 parts hazlenut, 1 part vanilla, 1 part whipped cream. It was good right outta the bottle, but over the past week or so, I've noticed that the flavors have blended and matured and the whipped cream flavor is really shining through. Its delicious and very smooth.

Hope you don't mind if I copy you, because that sounds outstandingly delicious...

By all means my friend :) If it makes a difference, I prefer 80VG/20PG. Oh, and 1 flavor shot for everything included. Given how tasty this liquid is after some steeping, you could probably go without any flavor shots at all.

There will be some oxidation but it is to let any alcohol from flavoring evaporate.

Two weeks to month. Depends probably on flavor.
Got 9 juices from him, and some started to have flavor other than soap after 2 weeks of steeping and some only after a month.
2 of them actually still aren't anywhere near the description and it's steeping for 2 months now... probably won't get anything apart from soap and menthol from those 2.

One of the best ways I've found is to give the liquids a try both fresh and after steeping to get a better idea for myself, as tastes can vary. Also, with numerous bottles ordered at a time, the bottles will sit for awhile before being fully vaped or barely touched in most instances. May as well let them steep well while waiting. ;)

Peanut butter update:

Right out of the box- great taste!!
4 days steeping - even better!!

The peanut butter taste definitely comes right out, probably didn't even need 2 shots extra flavor. Good hit, good vapor production, and good taste. Going to try the Nutella flavor next. Some reviews on peanut butter cup weren't good but then again, it's all about preference.
