so I've been using my tecc arc 4 mtl with 12mg and also have the vaptio dtl with 3mg . it's crazy I can 1 second vape on my arc tecc4 1.5 omhs and get tons of satisfaction and make a 10ml bottle last a week. where as the sub ohm beast I can do 10ml a day and still need it more then the arc tecc 4 and I inhale 3 times longer on that fat beast. what I would love is a sub ohm mtl so I can vape 3mg or 6mg on my arc tecc 4 instead of using the dtl and help or advice very welcoming. I just feel so much more satisfied with the mtl and not chucking 10ml of juice down me a day but have to use 12mg which I don't want to do I want it like the dtl but with 3mg or 6. and I don't wanna drink it like the 1.5 ohms mtl make you feel sometimes because of the small coils I'd love all help thanks. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF I CAN GET COILS TO FIT MY 40W ARC 4 SO I CAN VAPE 3MG OR 6MG juice THE REASON BEING IS BECAUSE I KEEP FEELING SICK OVER TIME USING THE ARC4 12MG WHERE AS THE SUB OHM DOESN'T MAKE ME FEEL SICK I THINK I NEED LESS MG NICOTINE BUT I DON'T LIKE DTL I PREFER MTL

Eleaf GS heads (coils) fit the arc 4 & are offered in .75Ω.

The tecc arc & tanks are just rebranded & more expensive e leaf products.

More power, more airflow, more cloudz = more e liquid consumption, no way around it.

Instead of dropping from 12 mg/ml nic to 3 -6 mg/ml, maybe try 8 mg/ml.

thanks for the replys. what I don't understand is why you can't vape lower nic on a 1.5 coil. DTL you use 0 3 6 I get that because it would be too harsh but why can't the coils of the 1.5 take the juice of a 3 or 6 for instance .I like MTL vaping it's just so complicated you can't put any lower juice in because the coil . so with the eleaf 0.75 would it be able to vape 3 and 6mg

You can use any nic concentration you want in any tank.

The reason it is recommended to drop the nic concentration in sub ohm tanks is because of the increase in density of the vapor produced and the volume of vapor produced. You don't need as much nic using these devices.

A non-sub-ohm tank makes less dense vapor and less volume vapor, so comparatively speaking you'd normally use a higher nic concentration in a MTL tank.

so I can vape 3 mg 6mg on my 1.5 ohms arc 4? sweet what kind of wastage should I use? I'm using 14 currently.
Standard universal answer: Start low (maybe 5 watts since you're used to 14 watts) and increase in gradual increments until the vape is too warm or begins to taste burnt. Then back down in wattage slightly to your personal sweet spot.

Welcome and glad you joined.
I'm not a big fan of drop in coils because the convenience tends to take preference over the functionality. Since vaping is totally scalable, the choice you have can be overwhelming. The main thing to remember is, part of vaping is all about you the vaper, being in control and the freedom to fix/tailor any aspect of vaping you feel you need to improve upon. With RDA's you have near complete customization/scalability and with drop in coils, not so much.

You can vape MTL in a tank designed for sub0hm if you get or build a coil that works. It's a matter of tailoring airflow, drip tip and wattage etc. It may or may not be worthwhile. I tend to not use sub0hm tanks because I have just plenty MTL tanks I enjoy although I have learned a bit about how to set up a tank with a few more sub0hm devices.

The nic level you need is the one that satiates you, and doesn't make you sick. With more sub0hm coils and higher wattage, you are likely to want lower nic juice but how low, I have no idea. Some folks will get a high nic juice and a 0 nic juice in the same flavor and that way they can experiment to their heart's content by mixing them in various ratios. You may want to try that until you get a better handle on your nicotine needs, etc.

You can vape Any level nic with any coil. The 1.5 ohm coil will be totally okay with any nic level you want. I vape zero nic, or 3, sometimes 6, sometimes higher with ANY coil, including 1.5 Ohm coils.

I just looked up your setup and it seems you are using the Eleaf GS Air tank which can be used with 0.15 (for temperature controlled setting), 0.75, 1.2 and 1.5 ohm coils and all are suitable to vape with the nic level of your choice. Recommended wattage range for each coil is usually printed on the coil, otherwise just check Eleafs homepage, here is the link:

If you prefer vaping MTL but the 12mg/ml you are using is making you sick, then it seems clear that you should lower the nicotine. Try 10mg/ml or 8mg/ml in your MTL setup. Seems simple.
