Harbor Freight Tools is giving away FREE Multimeter, with every purchase. What I did was rip the meter apart and added a 510 Connector. connected the + / - wires to the 510 connector, inside the case
Work great for checking OHM's ....on your rebuilds.

I have that same meter, not reliable with the probes. can u explain more on the wireing? that seems it would be more stable, thus more reliable. thx

Wish I would have taking pictures with the case apart, but I took out the NPN/pnp jack and glued a 510 connector in the hole. ran a wire from the + port of the meter to the center post of the 510 connector, and the - to the outer side of the 510 connector.
