This forum is truly an awesome resourse and has helped me with so many issues during my analog free vaping journey.

Quick question for the experts: Are ther any issues using multiple batt / atty adapters?
I have a quality 801 pass-thru but also have some 401 attys I'd like to use with it. I have an 801 / 510 adapter (batt/atty) already and a 510 / 401 (batt/atty) adapter on order. Will 2 adapters be Ok?
Secondarily, could you recommend a US based supplier that offers a single 801 to 401 adapter?

Thanks in advance:)

There shouldn't be a problem with using 2 adapters to achieve the combination you want. Sometimes the 801 to 401 combination is hard to find (or a bit expensive). Let your supplier know that you would like the 801/401 adapter and have him order it for you. If not, I believe Vapor Kings - DSE801, DSE901, Joye510 and KR808D-1 e-Cigarette supplies has the 801/401 adapter in stock (search for "adapter" on his site, don't forget to look for a discount code!) You might want to do a Google search to see if they are the best price available or contact your current supplier to see if he can get it for you.

The biggest issue with adapters is that if you over tighten the atomizer or battery to them, the center post moves away from the silicone surrounding the post and can cause a short. Most suppliers recommend putting the adapter on the atomizer and then carefully threading to the battery without over tightening it. Just make sure the adapters and your atomizers/battery center posts are in good shape and the silicone or delrin around all center posts are in place.

Happy vaping! :vapor:

I don't see why it would be a problem; it certainly would not destroy your PT or atomizers. Since you have the M401 attys and you've already ordered that adapters, try it out when they arrive. It will make the device rather long, however.

As for a single 801-401 adapter, I've just checked about a dozen adapter suppliers (including Heaven Gifts, which has a huge selection) and found nothing. [EDIT: I composed most of this post earlier this morning prior to Hellen's. I see that she is absolutely correct: VaporKings does have an 801-401 adapter!] Frankly, the M401 is not well supported these days ... and the penstyle (e.g., DSE801) lags behind the DSE901/KR808D-1 and Joye 510 in third place.

Since I like the Kr8 battery so much (280 mAh and a true 3.7V) – and the 901 is a standard connector on most mods – all my adapters are based on it.

BTW, if you like the M401's exposed atomizer, you might want to try out the Joye 306 atty, which can be used with a 510 battery or adapter.
