OMG!! I used to love that show!! (it was one of my guilty pleasures... )

They had a lot of well known people/musicians on there: Iggy Pop was the little girls' Father, Syd Straw (from the Golden Palominos) was the Math teacher... and played in their band, along with Marshall Crenshaw. I think Janeane Garofalo was another teacher, too. They had SO many people making cameos and playing bit parts... like Michael Stipe and most of the SNL cast.

I always wondered why it was on Nickelodeon... when it seemed like only the parents would appreciate most of it... LOL!!

Having watched the first two seasons on DVD with my kids repeatedly, (they never released season 3 on DVD, unfortunately), I can attest to the fact that the show has tremendous kid appeal as well.

Granted, my kids may be "a little off" (kinda like their old man ), but they love Pete & Pete.
