Spacekitty... did you "like" the song, or did you "like" Fanny? If the latter, there aren't too many of us!!!

BOTH!! That song was a nice departure from the heavier rock stuff I remember them for... :2cool:
Actually there was an all-girl band from here called Birtha (sometimes misspelled as 'Bertha') that was around way before Fanny, but didn't get a record deal until after Fanny paved the way.
And another 60's girl group from San Francisco called the 'Ace of Cups', who did the background chorus on the Electric Flag's 'Groovin' is Easy'. They never recorded a studio album, but some of their stuff was released not too long ago on CD (and a couple of vids on a DVD called 'Go Ride the Music/West Pole', which I happen to have).

You should check out both of those bands, too!! (there is stuff by them on Youtube...)

I have Birtha's "Can't Stop The Madness" LP, but am still looking for the one with the old Wurlitzer jukebox on the cover on vinyl (should check eBay I suppose).

There's a pretty complete Fanny compilation (their Reprise works only) out there: "First Time In A Long Time" that is pretty good and worth the asking $$$.
