"Darling Corey" - The Weavers

I'm better than I was two minutes ago, now that I'm listening to one of my ULTIMATE crib songs, thanks to your last play. The memories of my mom singing along to this song are earlier than just about any other memories I have. What was in your ears the most as a tiny, itty-bitty Moonlit?

"Dearest Darling" - Bo Diddley

I'm guessing from that that we both had big-hearted, sorta softie mamas. I can tell that you were raised up right. I have a laundry list of parent gripes, like most of us do, but I thank them all the time for bringing me up with plenty of great music. I think that crib tunes get built into our dna, at least a little. Could never get the folks into much of the stuff I found on my own at all, though:?:...a little frustrating. You?

"Dear Abby" John Prine

My folks were not big music fans, My dad liked merle haggard, johnny cash and the like. I do remember putting my moms skeeter davis album on the turn table before my mom thought i was to understand how to do so. she also had the "meet the beatles" album, which i still have. I did how ever turn my mom into a huge elvis costello fan, she likes his mellower stuff best, as she put its it when he wants to sing he really can. I did give her all my elvis CD's when i went iPod

oh yeah, i did get my dad liking john hiatt too

"Dear Chan Marshall" - We Are Trees

Sorry, can't post music on my phone, and the internet connection's in and out. That's two big scores with your folks. Mine are lamentably stuck on refusing to believe that much of anything good has been made in decades. Frustrates me that that I can't give 'em the gift of some newer tunes....think I mentioned that I'm temporarily moved back in with 'em; for my train of thought.
