Geeze I quite Smoking the sticks for 2 reasons...1st..Health...2nd..cost....hmmmmm....so much for cost......
I think the hardware is more addicting than the nicotine...(I didnt say that)

No kidding!!! I just really got back into vaping 3 to 4 months ago (after many tries in the past few years) and I just ordered my 8th mod (NotCigs VVPV) last week!

I won a GLV when I was a noob. Then bought the mini. I sold and gave them away. I could never get them to work right. But was a noob

I have the watch dogs and taffy tester and the package opener. I can mix up some mean drinks and food :)

I love the look of the GLV's, but I've been reluctant to buy one because I'm afraid of the battery life with the smaller batteries. I must chain-vape because I'll kill my Buzz Pro II batteries in less than the 6 hours between the time I get home from work and go to bed, and that includes using some of my other mods during that time!

EDIT: Oh, and that's only on the Yellow setting on the pot! I'm not even cranking it up! :(

wow really? I love my Buzz's but want something new......

Yeah I love my BP2 also, which is why I decided to go for the VVPV. I really appreciate the way the NotCigs mods are built and the fact that I can completely disassemble them, order parts and fix them myself. My first mod was The Mantis, and the seal in the 510 connector broke and it had to be sent back just for something simple like that. :(

Yeah Mike from Notcigs gets all vervous when I try and fix mine with a screwdriver lol. I am not so good at fixing things (yet) I wanted to try a vvpv but not so sure seems complicated

Well there are lots of helpful people here to help you if you need it! If something breaks just post some pics!

I did tons of research on the VVPV before buying it, and it's actually pretty easy! Just make sure to get a good atomizer (I prefer the ThermoVape AVA ceramic ones), put a drip shield on it and press the feed button every 3 or 4 vapes! :)

EDIT: Ugh, it's late and I forgot my manners! We should probably get back on topic and not derail the thread about all of the new awesome GotVapes stuff coming! :) Sorry everyone!

I'm in, but I don't think there would be much need for an IT Guy/Sys Admin like myself on a commune. :(

Oh wait, I know; I could do mod repair! :)

Totally need IT.....gotta have the internet running at all times. I can help with that part, and the cooking (hope you like to try all kinds of new recipes)

I'm in on the commune. I can cook and with my family I'm used to cooking massive amounts. Cooking for two has been a major challenge the last couple of years. I make my own yogurt and some cheeses. I process my own fibers, dye, spin, and knit or weave and sew them. I'll do our textiles. It has to be somewhere cool or have massive air conditioning units. My husband does building automation so he can take care of that. This heat and humidity in Richmond is a killer. I vote the cascades in WA. I'll do our general triage and treatment when we need it. You guys started my brain down a dangerous path. just how big should this place be? Pleeeeease at least someone do a get together it would be so much fun!

harleydiva, I need you to teach me to ride.

Thanks for the encouragement! I have asked my son to teach me. He said if I sign up for the DMV class he would retake it with me. I just haven't gotten the nerve yet. I do like riding the 4wheelers.

I took the Abate course...probably the same thing. I would second his recommendation.....you get to learn everything on a small bike and then take the test for the endorsement on the small bike. There were a couple of guys in my class that took it with their sons, even though they had been riding for many years. They said at the end of the course, they were surprised they were still alive as there was so much about safety they didn't know.

I was 6 when I first started ridding motorcyles(Honda trail 50). At age 8, I started my first clutch bike. My older brother taught me how to work the clutch, and get the shift timming down. He would ride "Bit.h" (excuse the exprssion) until he felt that I knew what I was doing. Then on one outing he simply "bailed" off the back, and I found myself solo..42 years later..still at it.

Once on an open road with the wind in your face, you will never look back. "If I have to explain, you wouldnt understand" saying, will become crystal clear.

Please do me a big favor if just starting out however. Learn by riding down dirt roads, open fields, or very isolated back roads.
Become VERY comfortable with the operation of your bike, and its characteristics. Develope the "6th" sense we bikers have about whats going on around us.

Only Hit the highways or busy roads when you have mastered this.

God Bless, and keep the rubber on the Road !!

That's my plan. I will probably trail ride at my parents' house before anything else. My younger son will probably take me to his hunt club too. He's the more conservative of the two. I always take a minute to think with the older one.
The younger one took me to the hunt club to put some rounds into a drawing of a lung with cancer I had made this past winter. Then I took a big stick and beat the hell out of a bigger tree. My dad had been diagnosed and had surgery right before Christmas. He's doing great now. That's when our Vaping voyage started.

Sorry for the thread jack. I definitely want this new stuff to come soon. I have been suffering from package stalking withdrawal.
