Mutation x o-ring fix

As some may know I've been looking for a way to make my side cap on my mutation x more snug. While rebuilding/ rewicking I found a free solution. I took rayon and u-wicked it, also wrapping it around the outside of each neg post. As you can see, I can lift it by my drip tip without a problem now, not that anyone would want to do that. But...

I used some dental floss under the o-ring.

Good idea wouldn't have thought of that how did you secure it?

Just put the floss under the ring and the ring will hold it there.

1. Take off o-ring.
2. Wrap some floss in the groove.
3. Put o-ring back on.
4. Profit.

I used some dental floss under the o-ring.

Most excellent idea. Now, why didn't I think of that. I did give the CCI Militia O rings a go, but they are too thick, and the side cap of the Mutation would not slide down all the way. Thanks for sharing the great idea!!
