Hello! I picked up an Indulgence Mutation X V3!
Looks beautiful, but it has a glaring problem, it cannot be screwed onto either my ohm reader or my Heatvape Invader Mini without getting "Open atomizer"

If I have it super super super super super loose, turned until the center pin just -very- lightly kisses the center pin from the ohm reader or invader, it will read. _ANY TIGHTER OR MORE LOOSE WHATSOEVER, it becomes "Open atomizer" Loosen off and tighten back til it JUST kisses again, reads fine. Tried super tightening. Tried not tightening, rebuilt like 10 coils on it now.

I've tried googling to find results on the problem!
But I haven't seen any results, anyone hear of this problem before?

I had reading issues with my V3 as well. I was confused at first when my regular build was not making connection. I fixed the issue by making sure that the center pin was screwed in tight enough. Your post is a bit vague, as I'm not sure if you are referring to "tightness" with respect to the atty screwed into the 510 connection, or the tightness of the screw in the center pin of the atty. If the latter, may try taking it all the way out and see what's going on in there? I haven't tried that but hope this can help in some way.

Also, I messed up my ohm reader with atty's like the tugboat v2 (extremely stupid long 510) and now my reader is finicky and needs replacement (Home Hopefully your 510 pin in your invader is still functional - do other devices fire no problem? ::VAPOR::

Well I feel rather sheepish now!
This is a brand new atty and I thought "Surely everything came tight! It's brand new! Every clone I've gotten has been tighter than (Censored)!"
This is my first non-clone I think, I was told that the Indulgence was non-clone, but it was also $30.

Anyhow! I took a penny and gently turned the screw on the atty's 510 connector and poof! Ohm reader is happy and the Invader is happy!
It's worth noting, I was building Nickel in this, and tried one Nichrome coil before I read your post and decided "Ah screw it, maybe I won't mar the silver plating too badly!"
Nichrome did NOT have this problem, only the Nickel; But it's solved now. Thank you!
