OK, love this atty but all of the sudden it leaks like a sieve. I've used it with top and bottom airflow open and bottom only. I don't think I'm over filling it. It leaks with 8-10 drops out of a plastic tip bottle, the tip is the narrow plastic one. This usually delivers smaller drops than an eye dropper or the larger plastic tip.

Anyway, running dual coil, 26 ga, 8 wraps each, .5 ohms. coils are directly over the lower air inlets and cotton is tucked down to the deck on both sides of each coil. Running on a sigelei 100w Plus at 40 watts and it vapes fantastic, but continues to run from both lower air holes all over my mod. I won't even put it on my Hexohm, don't want juice leaking into the mod.

Anyway - tips or suggestions are very welcome - thanks.

For me I found that it depends on the flow the ejuices takes. If you drip it so it falls down behind the coil, it should minimize or eliminate leaking. Another thing I do is if I notice juice starting to leak out, I close the side air flow so it's only the bottom airflow and take a drag without turning it on, sucking the juice back up. Hope this helps, good luck!

Thanks guys. I've been trying to do both of those things and it minimizes the leakage, but still getting some. In fact I started dripping on the center post for convenience - it's a lot simpler than removing the cap to add juice to the coils.

I may try using the sillicone plugs in the bottom and just opening the side air hole to see what happens.

I keep my top cap on and just drip directly onto the center post. Since I vape VG heavy juices, it tends to just hit that center post, ooze down, and get absorbed by the wick nice and evenly. At 42W with a .5ohm coil, I find myself getting 6-8 good hits before I re-drip (5-8 drips depending on how dry it's tasting)

Thanks. That's what I've been trying to do but still getting juice under the atty. I guess I will just have to make sure I vape it nearly dry before I let it sit for an extended period.

Mine taked 10 drips out of a glass eye dripper, with little to no leakage. I do 4 drips on the wick (one for each side of each coil) and the rest down the center post. .5 ohm build, 11 wraps of .26 ga kanthal. Maybe check your build to see if you have wick sitting right over one of the ports for the bottom intakes?

After two weeks of building on the mxv4 I've noticed it hits a lot better if the coil is centered directly over the bottom airflow vents and parallel and off the center positive post block about 1.5 mm.
Make sure the wicks don't contact the bottom airflow vents, especially the small one. Because of the side AFC blockers there is a bit less room in the chamber than the build deck seems to indicate. Any surfaces contacting the wick might cause juice to build up and eventually flow out, or just wick through surface tension.
So far I've enjoyed 26 awg 3mm ID parallel coils the best.

Try rewicking it. Maybe you used too little or too much cotton. Make sure your coils are directly atop the bottom airflow holes, with your coils about the height of the post holes. Like the high wrap on the negative posts and low wrap on the positive block.
Not trying to thread jack here but since this is a topic on leaking, does anyone else suspect theirs is leaking around the 510? I always have juice there even when I do not over drip and it is flush with the mod. The level of juice there seem like more than just condensation.
You may want to change your o-rings, that could cause it to leak too much so that juice is always following through the sides of the chamber and deck.
This is how I have my coils set up on the deck of my v4. I barely get leaks, but when I do it's from over dripping.

The lower coil leg placement inside the positive post hole serves as the level for where I keep my coil height.
