you can get authentics for less than $20 on eBay
Authentic Mutation x V4 RDA Multiple Colors Indulgence Atomizer | eBay
I don't get why you would try to get a clone to save like $8. I bought my SS V4 from this very source and it's worth every penny. I swear.

Plus, I've heard that other cloned mutation x v4's have had problems with spinning center posts due to it's rounded center post base on the deck.

Just a little food for thought.. I have both the V3 and V4 and much prefer the V3.

Newer model numbers do not necessarily mean a better product!

Just my opinion..your's may vary!

I have the V4, to be honest I found it a bit cheaply made, nowhere near as robust as say my Maphisto, again...just my oppinion though :)

Ebay authentic=clone 99% of the time

That's what I thought too, and I was pretty disappointed when a couple friends told me the exact same thing. However, I took the v4 to a few local vape shops and compared it to their stock... and it matched as authentic every single time. So either, all 4 of my local shops are flipping clones as legit, or my v4's one of the few authentic RDA's sold through eBay. [emoji136]

Idk.... me personally am sold on the amount of airflow the v4 allows. To be honest im just looking for bigger clouds. This is gonna be my first rda so even if its not considered "the best" its still a step up

In all honesty, even if it were a clone, the production of the mutation x v4 atomizer (including airflow placement, layout, and customizability) is pretty extraordinary. The two downsides I can name off the bat that may prove a potential problem to a beginner to RDA's are the v4's leakiness, and relatively cramped deck. If you learn how to build around those complications (ie. not overwicking/overstuffing the cotton and not overdripping), this RDA's probably the best you'll ever try.

Going off of that^, every RDA has its own "sweet spot" regarding build methods, wicking methods, and airflow adjustability. It's up to you to figure out what combination best suits your style of vaping. Cheers, and happy vaping! [emoji106]
