Smpl mod and mutation X v4?

So I'm buying a Smpl mech mod and I've heard people say that the 510 connection on the rda has to be protruding or sticking out. I have a Mutation X V4 and was wondering if this would go good on the Smpl mod.

I don't know if that will work or not

But the SMPL is what is called a hybrid.

It does not have a springy 510. You screw the atty into the tube. The 510 pin of your atty makes direct contact with your battery
