Is it just me or does anyone have this problem? Its hard for me to find a flavor that i really enjoy. Most flavors that i taste at brick and morter locations in socal ( about 4 locations all very local to me ) are very muted and i can barely tell the difference between them. Sometimes one or 2 stick out from the many many flavor options i try there. I usually try just about all of them!

Depending on what you are vaping out of will determin alot with flavor, I have however found that juice from kickbassvapor.com and a local to me brick and mortar are pretty good with flavor vaporcaststore.com also recently i ordered from vermillionriver ejuice and i liked them alot too..

the Niquid line do seem to have a muted flavor. that is good, but just does not stick out..

remember though.. taste is subjective to the individual person. what i think is absolutely fantastic you may gag off of. for example.. i have heard of one person who likes the crab flavor.. thats just meh....

If you've recently stopped smoking, chances are your taste buds are still burned out and lots of things don't taste "true". I'm going through the same thing right now. First suggestion is to try mint or menthol (some like cinnamon) as they're easier to pick up. Another suggestion is to try dripping the flavor rather than using a carto or tank: the flavor is stronger this way.

What you are experiencing is VERY common with new vapors.

Years of smoking have damaged your taste buds. They will heal, but it may take 1-6 months, everyone is different.

There are a few tricks to try though:

When you exhale your vapor, exhale some through your nose. Our sense of smell works closely with our sense of taste. I can demonstrate that fact by having you recall how food tastes bland when you have a bad head cold. Our nose normally picks up on molecules in the air released by food. When your nose is stopped up, it can't function to smell and therefore food tastes muted. The same is true with vaping, allow your nose assist your tonue.

Try some of the stronger flavors such as cinnamon, the mints, and menthol. Be careful what juice carrying device that you put cinnamon in, because it can react chemically with the clear plastic in clearomizers and cartotanks that use polycarbonate (cracking or melting it).

Vaping can cause dry mouth and dehydration, so drink plenty of water.
